Doesn't Novercal help you lose weight?

I think rain is predicted for us today, hopefully no snow until next week sometime.

Time will, of course, tell.

Last night I didn't interrupt DR RLP's frenzy because I, too, was watching a film for the first time....Miss Greta Garbo in ANNA KARENINA.  That was a great movie.  I love the Vivian Leigh version from 1949 or so, and I had sort of avoided this version as Garbo isn't my favorite actress....but she was great.  Fredric March was very handsome and spent most of the movie with his hands in his pockets - Basil Rathbone was also very good as the husband.  Freddie Bartholomew (third billed right after Garbo and March) was cloying.  I liked him in CAPTAINS COURAGEOUS, but not much else...

Anyway....I see that this movie is available on DVD, so I may have to purchase it.

Just so you know:

Expect a couple of shocks, surprises or startling news coming out of left field while the Moon in Virgo makes its monthly opposition to Uranus in Pisces (4:06PM PST). This polarity can also point you toward developing new high-tech and computer skills.

Why would a fellow want a girl like that....a girl who's merely lovely?

Good morning, all! Where has 2007 gone?

Nothing new to report; it's back to the harp part.

Someone in a weight-loss group years ago had written a parody of "Ten Minutes Ago" in honor of the group leader:

Ten weeks ago we met you
And we murmured our "How do you lose?"
We hated the diet
But you said to try it
And this was the start of our blues

DR Ron Pulliam - After going through last night's posts, I believe the following questions are the ones that come to mind - well, at least to mine:

Do I want what you're having (had)?

I wonder if having that wireless keyboard is setting up some extra electrical and magnetic fields in your abode?

Are you sure didn't already have that Triple Latte and Chocolatines?

;)

LOL -- I was thinking some of the same things -- or he either broke into the brandy cabinet or he was on a sugar high (didn't he mention something about some cookies?).  Maybe he had a piece of Monkey Rum Cake ....

Speaking of gratuitous milestoning, that's what I'm attempting right now -- E and T make-up frenzy (trying to pad those milestone numbers)...

Good morning all!  Not much to report..  Still healing.  It's taking so long to get it trained to heal, I don't know when I'll get it trained to roll over and play dead.  :)

So --  Thursday night, the first night that shows were performing again after the strike, I decided that it was a bit of a historic moment (for a theater fan, anyway), and that I had to be part of it.  So I cancelled my originally scheduled plans and got a ticket to see Is He Dead?, the newly discovered, but long ago written, play by Mark Twain.

It was so thrilling to be in the theater that night.  The excitement in the audience was palpable - pure electricity. The cheers and applause began right as the lights were dimmed, and everyone was so excited when the curtain was raised.

The play was very funny.  Not a great work from a writing standpoint, but a clever comedy that was very well acted by one of my faves - Norbert Leo Butz, with some excellent acting performances from Bryon Jennings and David Pittu.

A real treat to see the show that night.
