Well, you've read the notes, the notes were jolly, and now it is time for you to post until the sugar plum cows come home.

DR Ron Pulliam - After going through last night's posts, I believe the following questions are the ones that come to mind - well, at least to mine:

Do I want what you're having (had)?

I wonder if having that wireless keyboard is setting up some extra electrical and magnetic fields in your abode?

Are you sure didn't already have that Triple Latte and Chocolatines?

;)

As I was saying...

Liz Callaway was W-O-N-D-E-R-F-U-L!

I could gush and gush about her cabaret performance earlier tonight, but it would just be superlative after superlative.  Truly one of my all-time favorite nights of entertainment ever!  And my friend, Michael, also loved her too!

-In fact, we may go back again Sunday night for her closing show.  :)

BK - Liz and Alex and Ron send their best. -Of course, I didn't realize that I already knew Ron since he's one of the drummers for A Chorus Line.  We've played many a rehearsal of "The Cassie Dance" over the past couple of months.

OH!  And DR Julie happened to be at Liz Callaway's cabaret tonight too.  In fact, she ended up sitting right near us.  -It was good seeing you again, Julie!

And in the truly "Small World" department...

Michael just moved to NYC from LA literally a week a half ago.  He works in the television field as a producer-type, and a mutual friend of ours happened to put us in touch with each other.  I had mentioned to him earlier in the week that I wanted to see Liz Callaway, and he mentioned back to me that he would love to.  Well...

After the show, we were walking down 22nd Street towards Eighth Avenue, and we start trading stories about being in "the biz".  He had also done a bit of theatre work too.  He had heard Julie and I mention "Bruce" - yes, we were talking about you, bk - and he was wondering which Bruce we were talking about.  I told him, "Bruce Kimmel", and then told him that I had gone out to L.A. a couple of years ago to do a show for Bruce called What If?..

What If?!?!?  Oh my god!  I loved What If?!!!![/b]

He even remembered a good chunk of the lyrics from the "Tradition/Audition" section!

...Small and funny and fine.

Goodnight.

Good morning...or are the wee small hours of the morning really the middle of the night?

I forwarded my office calls to my cell phone, so of course someone called my office at 3:00 AM.  Mind you, there was no message by the time I got to the phone, but I must remember to turn it off or at least put it on vibrate before I go to sleep.

So just as I was about to fall back to sleep, Callie started crying. She doesn't do that in the night, so of course I immediately thought she must be sick.  She led me on a wild goose chase, or a tame cat chase, down the stairs to the basement back up the stairs and to the kitchen.  She wouldn't let me catch her so I just sat in the hallway for awhile and decided I was now awake, so I got up, made some tea and Callie is now sleeping under the dining room table. LOL
