Actually, thanks to a look at IMDb, I see that both Sarrazin and Parks continue to work.

Somehow, I manage to miss everything they are in.

But truly, now....whatever happened to Graham Faulkner?  I'm not saying he was any great shakes as an actor, but he was a "stunning presence" in "Brother Sun, Sister Moon."

IMDb says his last acting job was in 1984.  That's 23 years ago.  I can't help but wonder what he's doing NOW.

Whatever happened to Michael Rennie?

He died.

Very sad.

I enjoy him in virtually everything I've seen him in.

I remember when Andrew Prine did it for VIVA magazine.   :o

I know the girl who married Andrew Prine.

He had a very small role in a film about DH Lawrence, and was naked again, which is probably what endeared him to Franco Zeffirelli. He may have found someone to take care of him, went into other work, or retired. IMDB isn't always god wth their records.

How many here remember he was the boyfriend of Karyn Kupcinet, daughter of Irv Kupcinet?  Ms. Kupcinet was murdered.  I don't recall the resolution of the investigation.

Ah, yes, Franco....he had quite the sweet tooth for comely young men.

Isn't Wikipedia wonderful?

I looked up Karyn Kupcinet, and all I wanted to know -- and more -- was revealed:

I've finished the band parts and I'm off to the rehearsal.  The harpist will not be there, which is ridiculous since it's impossible to judge anything with a major player in one huge 13-minute piece missing.  Choral conductors seem to never think that one of the points of a band rehearsal with new orchestrations is to hear the goddam band and make adustments.  She was willing to come for the first hour and the conductor's attitude was the soloists are coming later than that.  Well, fuck it.  This rehearsal is not for the soloists. it's to rehearse the band. Asses

I must calm down in the next 15 minutes.

Der Brucer couldn't be bothered with picking me up at work today.  I had to walk home while it was snowing.

Fortunately, it was pretty.

Wikipedia, of course, can be riddled with falsehoods, depending on who's doing the information.  For example, whoever did mine, said the writing in my notes was ARCH.  I ask you.  Plus, how seriously can you take something that says:

"actor Earl Holliman, Holliman's then-girlfriend"

Let's just say that Mr. Guy Haines did a guest shot in a play and Mr. Holliman was in the audience to see his lover in the show.  And let's just say that it wasn't one of the actresses.

Esteemed BK, the Wikipedia entry on yourself must have been edited at some point, because there is no mention of your being Arch.

Or Billy.

Or Chester.

Although there is a mention of some Guy.

"actor Earl Holliman, Holliman's then-girlfriend"

Well, isn't that what they're saying--that Holliman was his own girlfriend?   ;D

I think I forgot to post that I am now signed on to do the February Ray Courts show, and I got Ray Barry Pearl as well, and I've asked him to seat us all together if possible, although Barry might do better sitting next to his Grease buddies - but certainly I'd like to be next to Bert.

Time to get dinner cooking.

Roast pork tenderloin, and potato pancakes (as a textural counterpoint).

I am glad you will be at the Courts Show BK. Perhaps we can dine with Mr. BIG?!

My BK question was whether you had ever heard Frank Stallone's wonderful singing? He has a few really good CDs available and he is one heck of a crooner...just like they had in the olden days.

If you want to see a large picture of I-5 going through Centralia, Washington (just 20 miles south of Olympia...and where several of my co-workers live), click HERE.  I didn't post the picture or link it to the board because it's a very wide picture and reducing it in size would really distort the image.  I think the picture was taken Monday.

Ah - yes, he gave me a CD when we were doing the movie together.  I've worked with a few people at this show - Miss Channing, Stallone, Barry Pearl...
