Good morning, all!   I thought it was a shaky band rehearsal last night; the harp has four numbers in all, and why those four numbers weren't played complete or to give her a real chance at ythem is beyond me. Of course, it's my concert priority and notanyone else's, but if the powers that be were aware the harp couldn't make the last rehearsal, you'd think they'd make sure the band numbers ran smoothly lat the next rehearsal.
And there were problems, all glossed over with "we'll fix it tomorrow at the dress." No. Fix it now.

So, the bitch is back and I have a trek to Toyland, the stage door of MARY POPPINS, Carnegie Hall, back home and then a concert tonight, which I'm attending with my dear friend and DR Jose.  I've got to start wrapping gifts and get some things shipped out this week as well.  I'm not regretting at all my decision to not gpo back to B&N for the holiday.

!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Happy Happy Birthday to our DR Ginny !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The eagerly awaited Jupiter-Pluto union at 29 degrees of Sagittarius takes place at 11:26AM PST.

This conjunction is definitely an active force all-day and for the next couple of days as well.

Clearly, any goals and plans on the higher educational and literary fronts can be developed and strengthened - leading to success and fortune in the future.

You should concentrate on finishing old business on a high note during this 29+ hour twilight zone.

DR JoseSPiano - no, wasn't planning on seeing Cry Baby.  Though I wouldn't mind seeing that hunk James S. in person.

Keeping up with Miss Karen

Isn't that the title of a popular play/movie?  No, wait a minute, I'm thinking of Driving Miss Daisy. Never mind..

We were calling MBarnum the sweetest person on HHW, but isn't Ginny tied for that title?

Happy birthday, dear Ginny!

Miss Karen - there's a novel and musical (which we saw in chicago a few years back) called TAKING CARE OF MRS. CARROLL.  Perhaps that's what you're thinking of?

Spoo, I forgot about the TOD:

I love the computer for the quick and easy access to so much information -- to click on and get so much news instantly -- I'm a big current events type person so that's great.

I love being able to email someone or getting email quickly without having to wait days like you do for snail mail.

I love having access to a site like HHW where you get to play with a bunch of wild, wacky, fun and caring folks from around the world.

I like being able to log-on and order books or CDs from Barnes and Noble within the comfort of my own home -- no drivng around, standing in line, etc.

I hate how addictive the computer can be -- you can spend hours on it before you know it.

I hate hackers, spammers, and other unsavory types who use it for evil (identity thief, stalking folks, harassing folks, bulllying folks, etc.)

I don't like how it isolates people (just like video games and television) -- even though you're connecting with people and meeting people, you're still not out there actually engaging with them face to face.

Well, see, there you have it. Seems like people have had a lot of success with these type of plays/movies -- so maybe I ought to enter Keeping Up With Miss Karen in NYMF next year (DR RonnieP you will get credit in the program for being my muse...)

Well, Har-Rump!  I thought I was the sweetest person on HHW  --- (manical, mustache-twirling evil laugh) Booo-wahhh-hahh-hahhh!!

Yep, Mikey, Ginny, but then there's also Jane, SawDawg, Edi, oh forget this, I don't have time to list all the sweetest people on HHW, there's too damn many of you!

I'm still working on MISS KAREN OF JUSTICE, a sitcom about a wacky theater person who moonlights as a small-claims attorney and lives, oddly enough, in a rural town called Justice

Four-thirty?  How unseemly.  A touch of heartburn, which I'm hoping will soon abate so I can go back to sleep.

That's the sign of good BBQ!

We have a jernt in Lilburn, Georgia which features a lot of different sauces (to me that says lack of confidence, but...)

Thier especially hot sauce is called the "lilburner"!
