A PARTRIDGE IN A PEAR TREE

Well, you've read the notes, the notes were here, there, and everywhere, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently trying to find a fershluganah pear tree.

Today will also be a day of errant-and-truant-ness.  I need to get to work early (ha!) so that I can leave at about 11:00 a.m., to drive a friend (and former co-worker) of my mom's (who I know also) to the airport.  I'll then come right back to work for a few hours, then go to the theater for our only Thursday performance before our last weekend of performances.  Today is going to be a long day. :P

Good morning, all! I spent the afternoon and evening boxing up Christmas things for shipment andthen discovered that on about half of them I forgot to add the Christmas card! Oy.  Today I will try to rectify that.  First, I have some time in Toyland, then luncheon and a movie with my friend Tara to celebrate her birthday.  She's my horror film date, so we're seeing THE MIST at 1:20.  Then I shall hie me back here to fix the card/package problem. I'd like to be able to hit the post office first thing tomorrow morning and mail some of these packages.

DR TCB, how are you feeling? Has everything physically calmed down? Did you see your doctor?

Thursday morning greetings!  It's rainy and foggy here in SW Ohio today.

When I got home last night, DH Richard was preparing burgers for dinner, which we ate while he and Rob watched The Bourne Ultimatum (I studied the mantle and decorated it after I ate).  I was very tired, so went to bed early.  By doing that, I see I missed a birthday greeting from DR Vixmom (thank you  :-*) and wonderful pictures from DRs Edisaurus and Singdaw.

Rip Van Winkle on the screen would be smart.

Tyrone Power will be cast in the part.

The musicals of Mr Jerry Herman are always fun to see and to work on, and I like most everything....but if I have to choose a favorite:

My Best Girl
Mame
Put on Your Sunday Clothes
It Only Takes a Moment

Least favorite and song I would NEVER miss if all copies were destroyed today so that it could never ever ever EVER be sung again:

Ribbons Down My Back
