After lunch, we made a brief stop into The Hershey's Store.  -I still wonder why Hershey's didn't opt for a store with more square footage?!?!?  Then we headed across the street to M&M's World for those few minutes.  Then we walked past the Times Square Toys'R'Us.  There was a line outside to get in, so... -I suggested they go back around 7:00 when everyone is at dinner and/or getting ready to head to a show.

Then it was back to their hotel for lots of hugs and goodbyes.  I may see them tomorrow morning before they train back down to Virginia, but I have a feeling Uncle Jojo may be sleeping in tomorrow morning.  ;)

Singdaw -I want to make cookies and watch sunsets off of your mother’s porch-BEAUTIFUL!

Except, because of your wrist, all you would do is sit on the porch!

Der Brucer is probably getting hungry.  I'm roasting chicken breasts with ginger tonight.  That and carrots, and RiceaRoni, the San Francisco Treat.

Why is Ginger there roasting chicken breasts?

I have been listening to some tracks from the XANADU Cast album.....I like Cheyenne Jackson very much....but Kerry Butler's performance not so much.  I am guessing that it is much more effective onstage than it sounds on disc.

Is that so, HHW'ers who have seen the show.....

...I then took the R Train down to City Hall... Stopped into J&R Music and DVD World... Finished the last bit of my Christmas shopping... The proceeded to walk back up Broadway... Through SoHo... Through the West Village... And hopped on the A Train back uptown... And now I'm back here resting my feet and defrosting.  ;)

Der Brucer is watching a movie called Ghost Rider.  I have no idea why.

A. Starz On Demand in HD!
B. Nicolas Cage
C. Melbourne at night

Cage rides his bike up the bridge arch!

...I didn't buy anything, I just couldn't move anywhere in the store in order to buy anything!  It was CROWDED!  So crowded that they had the store staff "ration" the use of the main escalator in the store ("Stop... Go... Stop... Go...") - and were even letting customers use the employee elevator in order to help control the flow of the crowd.  We did manage a few minutes in there with Alexandra, but even she wanted to leave after being shoved for the umpteenth time by various and sundried mothers and their children.

Jose, you can buy all the same stuff at the M&M Store website (shop.MMS.com), including that wonderful Statue Of Liberty M&M dispenser.

A fellow came to my register today with a cart filled with canned goods - over $230 worth.  Yep, it's time for contributions to be made.  I like people like this.

Meanwhile, ourside the sidealk was cluttered up with women shoving paper cups in my face saying "For The Children".

I told Woody that if they were there the next time I go I am going to say "You should be collecting for Birth Control instead!"

While at Bryant Park this afternoon, we were able to see the World's Largest Snowglobe.  It's part of the Canada tribute(?) that's taking place in Bryant Park this month.  Each week a different province is featured.  This week it is Ontario, and, apparently, snowglobes are popular in Ontario.  ;)

Watching THAT DARN CAT and now I remember why I didn't LOVE this movie.  No Hayley Mills OR Dorothy Provine for the first 20 minutes at least.....

Why is Ginger there roasting chicken breasts?

He says it's because Maryanne is busy cooking coconut cream pies.

Did they have wine tastings, spa treatments and hockey practice in that snow globe too?
