Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up... And I just finished watching John Edwards on "Face The Nation"... He looked good, although his eyes seemed to be showing signs of all the current craziness in Iowa.  And I'm wondering if he's still getting those $400 hair cuts... and maybe even some "touch ups".  ;)

...It's sort of hard to believe that I'm flying back to NYC in two days.  I mean, the past week and a half have really seemed to fly by faster than I thought they would.  When I first booked this trip home, I was a little "afraid" to be away from The City for so long (almost two weeks).  The longest I had been out of The Big Apple this past year was just about a week - compared to last year when I was basically "out of residence" for four and a half months.  New York City has really become my home this past year.

In retrospect (sort of), I'm glad I was able to spend this much time down here with my family and friends.  I've had some great "quality time" with many people, most of all with my parents.

Well, it's time to get the rest of my day in gear.  I just ended up crashing here last night at Steve's, so he'll be driving me back to my parents house this afternoon.  On the way, we both have a few shopping errands to take care of.  So, until later...

Laters...

Birthday Happy to DR DAKOTACELT who provided both the teakettle whistle AND the soap opera excerpts in last summer's production of THE SUNSHINE BOYS, and made my life a whole lot easier!

Thank you for the birthday greetings JRand...

I was glad I was able to help by contributing to a successful production of Sunshine Boys.

Have practicaly reacclimated myself to west coast time.

It was a struggle this year...for some reason.  I blame the flight and, thus, of course, that means I blame Jose.

DR Jane:  Does the term "airberlin" mean anything to you?  I ask becauce I have an e-mail I'm afraid to open because I do not recognize the e-mail address...but "Jane" is a name attached to it.

It's a gloriously glorious day outside.  Blue skies and all.

But it's a mite CHILLY, too.  I need to light a fire log.

Just a note of self-congratulations:  My mom had a "gutter man" in on Friday and he told her that her gutters do not need replacing, but they DO need to be rebalanced (i.e. they're all lower on the ends furthest from the downspouts).  I said as much the day I cleaned them, so it's good to get some validation for my first assessment of gutters of any kind.
