TCB - Looking forward to meeting you, too.

I assume we'll be staying in theater-owned housing, but not sure what the cooking situation will be :)

Well, I guess I will just have to wait till I visit New York to taste the great Kennon Kooking.

Tonight, is the only time this weekend when I am going to be straying from the home environment.  I am going to see THE COLORED MUSEUM at the Tacoma Little Theatre.  It is in the "Black Experience" slot that NATIONAL PASTIME was in a few years ago.

Great weather guy, " If it sets up farther north it could go north of us, if it sets up farther south it could go south of us, and we could be right in the middle of it"

TCB - Nothing's finalized as to the dates of the Last Starfighter presentations, but assuming all goes according to plan, it's a two-week intensive process starting April 22, which culminates in a few presentations which I think are open to the ticket-buying public.  I don't think they'll be announcing it on their site until a few weeks before the actual presentations.

And sorry you couldn't make it when we were at the Village last time, TCB, but hope to meet you this time

After starting the week feeling really good, I had kind of a pnenomatic setback Wednesday thru Friday.  The wheezing and coughing started coming back on Wednesday, and after resting all day Thursday, I thought I was okay.  Unfortunately, Friday was a long and labored day at work.  This weekend (all three days) is going to be mostly rest, rest, rest.

Thanks goodness you have Monday off.  Are you still on the antibiotics?

One of the advantages of Gmail, Larry, is that it's not tied to your ISP and thus can be picked up from anywhere. In the past, I believed my ISP when they said I could pick up my email from a friend's computer using webmail. It was a fiasco. But Gmail is really great for that. It's free, too.

Even I can figure out how to retrieve my gmail from any computer.  It also has a search to find past emails.  All emails under the same subject are lumped into one grouping, sometimes this is a convenience & other times I have missed emails.

FJL, I am very excited to hear about STARFIGHTER at The Village.  I am even more excited about finally meeting you and Skip in person!  I don't suppose you will be getting a hotel room with a full-kitchen, so that Skip could cook?

Watching REIGN OVER ME put Keith in the mood for PUNCH-DRUNK LOVE again.  We stopped at the video store to pick it up and Sherlock met a cute little Cockapoo puppy.  He was very sweet & gentle with the puppy & the owners were very happy for their puppy to meet a big dog who was so nice.

Not a gratuitous post!

For those readers not inclined to read All That Chat, The New York Shakespeare Festival's recording of THE THREE PENNY OPERA is available for free download at:
http://www.dinosaurgardens.com/archives/180

Tony Azito, Ellen Greene, Raul Julia, Blair Brown and others.

Quite a find indeed, since this has never been released on cd.

Honestly, it is my personal favorite THREE PENNY recording.

Well it was easy to catch up today.

It is very cold right now, but they have revised the forecast delaying the snow until Monday.

DR MATTH - I will also add Waterloo Bridge to my Leigh List, I forgot it this morning.

And I really like THIS SPORTING LIFE....it really made me notice Colin Blakely who turned up in lots of movies made before and AFTER TSL.  I like him a lot.

Saturday evening greetings from SW Ohio!  DH Richard and I had a smooth trip back from Wisconsin, but nobody here likes the cold weather we brought along.  We've been home about an hour and are very glad to be here.
