The meetings are over for today. One day more (a Les Miserables reference).

Re: The DOOL clips

The actors playing the pere et mere Brady are different actors do them know. Were they the originals (who I believe both quit) or were they replacements for the originals who were then replaced by originals when they decided to come back?

Yes, the original actors, Frank Parker and Peggy McKay left the show for about a year or so then came back. Shawn at this time was played by Lew Ayres. I dont remember who played Caroline.  Frank and Peggy returned in 1985. I know it was during the Stockholm story line started and it was a good couple of years that they were back before Jack raped Kayla.  If I remember right it was just as the Stockholm story was starting in mid 1985.

Well, it's a good thing I was good at lunch -- having just new potatoes and cauliflower and broccoli. Dinner was a sit-down affair where we were served -- no buffet where I could choose. Prime rib and asparagus wrapped in bacon. Definitely NOT what I'd choose. Creme Brulee for desert.

Just finished filling out a survey after my 4 hour journey into getting a DNS prob solved with my internet provider yesterday. I wills ay this I have never been treated as rudely as I was at that time. I was jerked around for four hours and rudely spoken to by three condescending jerks. When I finally got to the fourth person, it was solved in a few minutes. I truly did not deserve the treatment I got. I was not a happy camper.

Oatmeal and yogurt for breakfast, I guess. And up and down the mountain a few times if I get the chance.

If I had a choice of another dailup provider in the FArgo area outside of AOL, I would do it but unfortunately I am stuck with AT&T. I am not impressed with them. I am seriously considering taking the plunge and getting broadband from Qwest.

Anyone have experience with them?

Prodigy is bought out by SBC and then Yahoo and now AT&T owns it. Needless to say the qaulity of their service has declined. I do not recommend them at all.

Suzanne Pleshette:

I alwayd enjoyed her mindless romps with Dean Jones:

The Ugly Dachshund
Blackbeard's Ghost
The Shaggy DA

der Brucer

I also liked her in THAT DARN CAT!

I recall it was fun to watch that since I owned a Siamese cat named Smokey at that time. A very spoiled Siamese..... She liked cheese...

In a little while, I shall be getting a dvd copy of a film which I have heard much about, but, alas have never seen. . .
Can Hieronymus Merkin Ever Forget Mercy Humppe and Find True Happiness?
I know that bk MUST have seen it.
Are then any other DRs who have seen this Anthony Newley extravaganza?

On the behalf of DR elmore:

VIBES PLEASE!!!!![/i]

I got a call around 3:45 from Larry, and, unfortunately, it appears that he has been struck with a case of the flu.  He had just come back in the apartment after moving some boxes, and... WHAM!  (I'll spare you the details that were not spared me.  ;))  So...

He's currently taking a break, and resting, and starting to recuperate.  His computer is still down at the office, so he can't post from home.  Hopefully, this bout will pass quickly, otherwise, he may have to postpone the exterminator's appointment for later in the week.  Any and all Good Vibes and Wishes would be much appreciated.

[move=left,scroll,6,transparent,100%]~~~SUPER VIBES FOR DR ELMORE!!~~~[/move]

AOL ranks the WORLD'S FRIENDLIEST COUNTRIES

•   Number 1 -- Ireland

Ireland was chosen by Lonely Planet as the World's Friendliest Country. Ireland's history is based on people working, prospering, socializing, and sometimes fighting together. Tourists can witness it firsthand by watching events like the Galway Arts Festival, complete with street performers, comedy acts and visual arts. Based on the country's falling crime rates, the people of Ireland would rather cozy up at the pub than inflict pain on visitors. In a place that has had its own share of tough times, the people have found comfort through socializing and welcoming newcomers.

der Brucer

I agree....

Ireland is incredibly beatiful and freindly. Great music also!

My friend Joshua went to Ireland last summer before we started rehearsals for Nite of the Living Dead! The Musical!  He's of Irish descent, so he wanted to visit where his people are from.  I don't think it was his first time, but it was his first time that he went all by himself.  He loved it and said that the people there were very friendly. :)
