I would only appear in the Fox documentary IF I was alongside Dr. Drew Casper so I could throttle him onscreen.

To quote Singdaw (IIRC), may I watch?

You'll need to have a safety zone around him for when his dentures fly out of his mouth.

That would make some DVD bonus feature, wouldn't it?   ;D

MBarnum, I remember reading something about the Checkpoint One Foundation awhile back.  It is a wonderful idea & I wish them continued success.

Back from a nice breakfast meeting with an interesting fellow - he's a film producer, but also heads up a charity organization (with various offshoots) called the Starlight Foundation.  Someone recommended me as the go-to guy to handle the entertainment portion of his fundraiser gala in June.  Since it seems like a fairly straightforward thing and since I love kids, I've agreed to do it.

That's nice :)

Thank you DR’s Jennifer, Jose, Ben, Ginny, JMK, & MBarnum.

Jose- The gifting of a web cam has entered my mind, maybe down the road when I’m sure they will use it.

Wow!  That worked pretty well, didn't it?

Let's try another one.

Is anyone out there enough of a hick to explain the appeal of football?

Not to any wussy-poo who presumes only "hicks" like football.

Spotted at a nearby table at Nate 'n Al's - Mr. Larry King, who looks even weirder in person than he does on TV and that's saying something.

I had Matzoh Brei - only fair, I'm afraid.  The Diet Coke was good, though - right out of the can.

Had a very good meeting this morning with a number of furniture vendors with whom we do business.

Have a staff meeting this afternoon.

And then, tonight, "LOST"!

What was NOT good was the traffic getting there - I do not know what's happened to Coldwater Canyon in the last year, but it's totally out of control.  I sat on Ventura waiting to turn left for twenty minutes (traffic cops now tell you when you can go and can't go).  Once on Coldwater the traffic was literally at a standstill with no movement for about five minutes, then we began inching our way up the hill - it took another fifteen minutes to reach Mulholland.  By that time it was eight-thirty so I called the guy's assistant and told him I'd get there just as soon as I could.  Coming down the hill was easier and I got there about twenty minutes late.  And when I came home, there was no traffic coming back, but I could see that the opposite side going up Coldwater was STILL backed all the way to Ventura Blvd. and this at ten-twenty in the morning.  Madness.

I was supposed to talk with muse Margaret at ten-thirty to read her the revised pages, but I had a message from her (left at ten) saying she was going out shopping and would call upon her return.  I know she has to be somewhere at noon, and I really hope we speak before then, because I really don't want to continue until I know that section is okay.  So, here I sit.

No cole slaw?

Sorry, I should have warned you.  They make good eggs & I think their blintzes are pretty good, other people say so anyway.  I prefer mine & I never order matzoh brei out.

Muse Margaret seems MIA - I wish she'd been there at the time we'd set up.  I guess I'll just slog on and go back to the other thing whenever she gets around to calling.

Our wet snow has just turned to regular snow.

I was surprised Keith went to the gym today.  He called and said he almost didn't make it down our road (I think he was getting too confident with his wonderful, almost new car).  I hope he makes it back home okay.

I just read HERE on Playbill.com that Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton's musical, The Beautiful Game has been reworked a bit and is now being called The Boys in the Photograph and will have a production in Canada next year.  Sounds interesting.

Keith is home, with difficulty, but home.  I doubt he is driving anywhere tomorrow.
