Nope - that scoundrel former DR BrettySpaghetti never came through.  I'm just hoping that some day it might become available for transfer!   :-\

Would you like me to loan you my copy?

Back from a nice breakfast meeting with an interesting fellow - he's a film producer, but also heads up a charity organization (with various offshoots) called the Starlight Foundation.  Someone recommended me as the go-to guy to handle the entertainment portion of his fundraiser gala in June.  Since it seems like a fairly straightforward thing and since I love kids, I've agreed to do it.

Good for you, BK.

TOTD:
I'd like to see Official CD releases of the following (and with more tracks that were probably recorded!):
OLC - The Good Old Bad Old Days
OLC  - Gone With the Wind
OLD - Andy Capp

Also the complete catalogue of one time Roulette group "The Playmates".

I've not checked for a while but I don't think Anthony Newley's "In My Solitude" has made it to CD either.  I was playing his version of "Guess I'll Hang My Tears Out to Dry" yesterday.

DR DerBrucer - As for "medieval dress codes", I believe the real issue is the medieval mindset of the neighbors.  And of people who comment about such things.

I just read HERE on Playbill.com that Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton's musical, The Beautiful Game has been reworked a bit and is now being called The Boys in the Photograph and will have a production in Canada next year.  Sounds interesting.

It would want to be more interesting than the original with Ben Elton's lyrics!
(Though at least I got through the whole show)

DR Ron Pulliam:  ;D

Did it work?

Huh?  Did what work?

And in what regard?

And why do you need to know?

Are you writing a book?

Are you collecting data?

Wow!  That worked pretty well, didn't it?

Let's try another one.

Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Sondheim, Stephen Sondheim.

Can we try this one:

I had my follow-up appointment with my doctor today.  I didn't get the news I was hoping for.  I do indeed have MRSA and probably will have (in one form or another) for the rest of my life.

The doctor had to lance my arm again, so I came home and took a pain pill.

Sorry to hear the news DR TCB.

I'm way too sensitive and caring to ask about the size of your doctor's lance.

No, not if they don't mind the goodly number of small minded people making life uncomfortable for them.

I must admit that if I saw a women in a burka, the first thought that would enter my mind would be "Islamic Terrorist". And I would support my local school board if they chose to ban people wearing burkas from school grounds; and, I would support my local community if they chose to ban people wearing burkas from entering public buildings.

Frankly, if you won't show your face, you are not welcome!

Not to any wussy-poo who presumes only "hicks" like football.

 8)
I would have enjoyed college football a lot more if I wasn't required to parade through miles of slushy streets in the freezing cold to amuse our patrons (the taxpayers). I confess, I really did get into the whole pep-rally madness that surrounded every week before a game. During Plebe (freshman) year, special favors were bestowed upon the room that had the best Go Navy poster on their door and I used to go all-out to compete (wonderful things you can learn to do with glue and glitter and minature lights).

der Brucer

Using glue, glitter, and lights for costuming came later ;D

I've also thought a lot about the topic of the day. . .but. . .there are so many favorites available in one way or another, those darned gray areas and those wonderful folk who transfer their lps to cds . . .
Still I would like:
THE OWL AND THE PUSSYCAT  original soundtrack
THE SINGING NUN original soundtrack
AT LONG LAST LOVE original soundtrack
THE APPLE original soundtrack

as well as the original lp versions of OVER HERE! and PUMP BOYS AND DINETTES.

But I already spent this week's allowance...     :'(

Here are some thoughts for next week:

The Moussaieff Red paid a visit to the Smithsonian Museum in 2003, being part of an exhibit titled The Splendour of Diamonds (above photo). The exhibit lasted from June 27th to September 30th and featured a number of other unusual colored diamonds, namely the Millennium Star, the Heart of Eternity, the Pumpkin Diamond, the Allnatt Diamond, the Ocean Dream, and the Steinmetz Pink.

I think uncomfortable, hot, claustrophobic, oppression, never terrorist.;D  And then I think they should wear what they want to wear, just as I was horrified yarmulkes are not permitted in some schools, outside of the US.

Perhaps Burka is not the correct word, or maybe there are different styles or types of burkas I don't know, but her outfit is more like this the photos below. Her face is not covered, just her hair and the rest of her body so it really should make no difference to anyone.

Well, I was hoping to meet up with DR elmore to catch a movie, but I lost track of time over the past two hours while taking care of some end-of-the-month paperwork.  So, I did try calling him a few minutes ago, but got his voicemail, so, hopefully, he was able to finish Steri-Mopping his apartment floor, and made it to the movies on time.

As it turns out, it looks like I'll be watching A Chorus Line (Again!") tonight.  There are some understudies getting their first time on stage tonight.  Always exciting.  -Guess I'll be up to the wee hours watching "Lost" on the DVR.
