I am very excited to watch the Superbowl this Sunday.

And also to see the ads (which is actually quite a feat here since everything but certain satellites only gives the canadian commercials).

Some whack-job on the TV is ranting and  raving about how women are ruining the Superbowl. He says no women really care about it - it should be for men only.  He then railed about all the commercials because they were geared to women's products like underwear and shampoo. It was curious to hear him declaim how men don't want to watch women's dumb undie commercials like Victoria Secret. (Just where is this line of of all-American men objecting to Victoria Secret commercials - the closest thing to soft-porn on Network TV)

der Brucer

Even tho I'm not a big football fan, I usually watch the superbowl because it is a national news event - now I need a reason to favor one team over the other!

Of course, my philosophy is that one should always start with the original...because it's the first.  I love the Brent Barrett/Rebecca Luker version (with Judy Kaye as Meg) and the Shirley Jones/Jack Cassidy (with Susan Johnson as Meg). ;D

Well, two stalks of celery in each pot.

Plus two carrots.

And an onion, quartered, two quarters per pot.

And don't forget the parsley.

And the thyme.

And peppercorns.  And a clove of garlic in each.

Just hope he doesn't find the recipe that calls for puppy-dog's tails :-X

It is cold.  It is windy.  It is rainy.

Not very gratifying dog-walking weather.

Broadway it is.

But if it were the London Original Undergraduate Internet E-download, you could say, "LOUIE it is!"

Yes - the same one with folks bemoaning that John McCain is not conservative enough (as if any one "conservative enough" to suit them could ever hope to win a national election!)

der Brucer

O course, now that Ann Coulter has proclaimed she will support Clinton if McCain is nominated, anything can happen.

When he was here, DR JoseSPiano didn't comment upon the news reported earlier today about the revamped agreement for the original participants whose interviews helped to create A Chorus Line.  I presume there was talk about it today at the auditions.

And now for something completely different...exactly five years ago today, the Space Shuttle Columbia exploded.
