This month's Consumer Reports is all about dishwashers.  Think Kenmore.  :)

I had a Kenmore that last a long time but was only an average performer. The Frigidaire I have now is superb.

Gosh, that sounded like a rant, didn't it.

A "geezer rant", yes....!

Today is nice and sunny. I shall go for a long walk to make up for the last couple days.

OK, heading down now to check the mail (fingers crossed for something good, as always), clean the living room, and then start on lunch preparation.

Is Ron back on his meds?   ;D

Re:  Lubitsch--yes, the funny thing is I think the only reason I got it is because it's an Eclipse.  They give the "real" Criterion releases to their "real" reviewers, LOL.

Re:  Kenmore.  Our Kenmore (albeit top of the line) is the best dishwasher we've ever had, and it came in at the top of the CR listings this time.  Of course I grew up in a "Sears family" so it was always Kenmore or nothing.   ;D

I think this is a great line and is how I felt about the show

"As as result, whole stretches of the show seemed like a Miss America contestant's talent offering -- well sung but somehow wrong."

 ;D -- good one

LOL -- I love it -- and I especially love the thought of what a sweet boy (and great playmate) Bosco must be to let Meredith use him as her giant dress up doll...

Today, the DD turns 2.

As for rice, I love a good risotto and some good fried rice, but like pasta, rice is evil.  It's quite impossible to eat "just a little" rice, so I try and avoid it as much as possible.

Hey Mikey ~ How old is Bosco? Have you had him since he was a pup? Where/how did you come to adopt him?

Oh yes, Bosco loved the attention! And he will be getting plenty of it as they will be taking care of him during my vacation!
