I'll be keeping my eyes open to see what is decided about HEROES which is "to be determined" according to the chart.

I still have not heard one word from Deep Discount as to the status of the TAMMY box. Either the distributor was late delivering the product or they simply ran out. I don't have time to watch it even if it were here, but it's still perplexing.

After I finish GIRLFRIENDS, I'll begin with two Criterion films (PIERROT LE LOU and WALKER) and the Nicole Kidman MARGOT AT THE WEDDING this week. I'll be doing these during this coming week. (They come out on the 19th.)

The Godard film is a two disc set which I suspect will take me a couple of days to digest.

Sorry PORTRAIT IN BLACK wasn't up to par, but it's always been my least favorite Ross Hunter-produced melodrama from this period. I much prefer MIDNIGHT LACE and BACK STREET.

Well, har-rum-phhh! If everyone is going to be so quiet, I'll make my exit. Actually, I'd stay but I have to go get ready to go to the closing session of my weekend colloquium. Thesis semester has officially begun -- so if I become even more E and T, check the padded cell at Sunny Vale ... Adieu!

Archive of American Television has many interesting interviews.

Here is a 2003 interview of Jack Larsen.

Oh, my gosh, Jack Larson seems like such a fun fellow!

There had better be photos from tonight's soirée, even if Genghis has to take the photos himself.

BK, I e-mailed you about dinner tonight...I am thinking that 6 pm might be a bit too early as my plane lands at 4:30 and who knows how long it will take to get my luggage and rental car...if we could move it up an hour or more or maybe eat at DuPar's or someplace closer to the airport then I could make it earlier if you prefer an earlier timeline.

I thin it is obvious from last night's posts, that DR Coleslaw has serious drug issues!

OK. Here's the rundown of the plans for netowrk shows if the strike is settled today:

Add to that THE CLOSER, which should start airing new episodes in mid-July!

Travel vibes to MBarnum.

Sorry your interview didn't work out in L.A., but could you drive to San Diego to do the interview there if that was the original point of your travels?

I wondered that as well, but not being familiar with CA geography, I wasn't sure if it was feasible.

Of course, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that PSYCH, BURN NOTICE, and other favorites from last summer will also begin to gear up production and have summer seasons again.
