Lunch!

How you do sacrifice for your art...

Sitting there...eating...amongst all the sweaty male dancers...

Well, you're in luck, because the Lubavitchers practice separation of the sexes (with a Mechitzah at services), so chances are you'll only be touched by another guy.   ;D

Hey! Who's making humorous Orthodox Jewish references on these boards without letting me know about it? :)

I was just Googling myself, and discovered that there is a person with my exact name in a place called Cockermouth, UK.

Now really.

Is this some sort of cosmic commentary?   ;)

Well, I'm about to enjoy some macarons from a new little, French coffee and pastry shop I happened to walk by during my lunch break.  Today's flavors - well, at least the one I'm going to try: matcha green tea and Violette (violet).

The Parisienne sandwich was pretty good:jambon, gruyere, cornichons, beurre and lettuce on a quite authentic baguette.

I am both a well-known Wall Street analyst and a thanatologist (that's a death expert, for those of you in Rio Linda, to quote Rush Limbaugh).  I am happy to say that me, myself, I come up first in searches of myself.  :)

We have had this ridiculously slow drain in our main bathroom that I have been Liquid Plum'ring and Drano-ing into oblivion for years.  I finally got sick of having to do this every few months and got the heavy duty, sulphuric acid kind today and we actually have "swirling" water for the first time ever in that bathroom drain.  Of course I told Betsy the punchline is the pipes are going to fall off the sink in a few minutes.

Last I checked, I remain unique on Google, although my last name gets misspelled almost as often as it gets it right. The Lovely Wife(tm) shares her maiden name with a grantwriting specialist and a Math PhD, and her married name with a German school administrator. With our last name's most common mis-spelling, she shares a bunch more, including a pretty comical author.

I am back from Eddie Brandt's, who don't open until 1 pm. I was thinking this was Saturday and they open at 8:30 am on Saturdays. I guess that is what happens when one is on vacation...everyday is a Saturday.

However the drive around North Hollywood and back to Burbank was very nice and I stopped at Ralph's Grocery store and purchaed somw low carb yogurt.

I imagine BK is at his table in the ballroom awaiting the throngs. I was going to go down to visit with him but I do not think they will let me in until 11 pm as I am not with one of the celebrity guests this time.

I also listened to auditions today, DR Jose. The gentlemen mockingbirds are singing, hoping to attract a lady.

Make sure to go up to Carol Channing and insist that you produced the revival cast of Hello, Dolly.  Please report back here afterwards.

I share my name with a founder of an accounting firm.  He died at 90 (here's his obit).  Sounds promising.  :)

I am taking those of you who have raved about Dexter at your word.  I used a 20% off coupon plus a Fred Meyer rewards coupon today and got the first season for around $10, so we're off to watch the first episode.

Trouble maker!  ;)

Just be careful, DR MBarnum, when she starts putting her hand in here and there.
