Well, you've read the notes, the notes went ping and then pong, and now it is time for you to post until the cows come home - they're currently playing Moo Jong.

Well, said the southern minstrel, I'll pick up dissolute, a-sittiin' next to this ole banjo, and strum  us a number.

OOPS! BRITNEY HITS HOLLYWOOD WITHOUT HER UNDERWEAR WHILE HER DOGS RUN AMOK IN HOTEL

LOS ANGELES —  Britney Spears is proving yet again that she can't help but show off her private parts to the public.

The songstress stepped out of her Cadillac Escalade en route to the B2V Borrelli-Vo Salon in West Hollywood on Tuesday evening, willfully displaying her uncovered crotch to the packs of paparazzi.

"She didn't care at all," a pap on the scene told Pop Tarts. "People were warning her to pull her dress down, but she just ignored them and made her way inside the salon."

I wonder if MBarnum would like to do military interviews:

Well, I guess it's time to remove Attack of the Puppet People and put in that other HHW favorite (that I've owned for years and have never watched), The First Nudie Musical.

Car Cd, some Naxos stuff-finished a Ned Rorem CD(Sympnony #2, cello concerto) and started a Miklos Rosza violin concerto, which the notes say was used in Billy Wilder's PRIVATE LIFE OF SHERLOCK HOLMES.....Last nite, i watched LUST,CAUTION-very good, but in retrospect I'm glad I caught it at home; Some of those scenes, viewed in an actual theater, would seem to call out for a trenchcoat.Sun, I'll watch the Oscars and to cheer myself up, re-watch HOT FUZZ, which I'm the only group that chose it as best Pic.

Friday morning greetings!  My workplace is on a 2-hour delay again this morning, due to road conditions.  We had several inches of snow last night before the freezing rain began.  It's still raining, but the temps should get above freezing later in the morning.  This is no longer amusing.

TOD - CD(car) - continuing with Forbidden Broadway.  My obsession might be fizzling out, because it's all beginning to sound alike.

DVD - Dexter, Season 1, disc 1

Yes there are snow delays here, too.....not sure if we will open on time....we shall see.  Ice on top of snow causing problems, and 2-3 more inches of snow predicted for this afternoon starting at 3 p.m. or so.

We have snow that may actually stay for more than the day.

I'm listening to the end of Russel Davies on BBC 2.

I have some CDs for the work day.

We watched Private Lives last night with Penelope Keith and Alec McCowen, part of the Coward DVD set. We have Present Laughter left to watch. We're coming to the end of the programs!!! I'm going to have Coward withdrawal.

Good Morning, folks!

I took a look at the weather reports and knew that I would not attempt to drive today.

Fortunately, I have mass transit as an option.  Although it's not terribly convenient.  But I am at work!  Not too many other people here, though.   :-\

Good morning, all! I now have the funds to ship these 43 cartons! I will spend the weekend finishing up the taping and ship them out on Monday.  I am very excited about this.  I'll try to finish this madness up today so there's no delay calling Fed Ex early on Monday for the pickup.

DR Jose, a movie would be wonderful, but I've got dinner plans this evening with Bruce Pomahac, and I need to finish up these cartons today.  I would certainly be agreeable for a movie over the weekend.

My weekend plans include a first round of cleaning up the band parts and piano/vocal score to "The Brain From Planet X," which is going into the Rodgers & Hammerstein Theatre Library.  My task will be performed in several steps and will take several weeks:
  1.  Cleanup of all note errors in score and parts
  2.  Correction of all lyrics and notes in the piano/vocal score and addition of vocal part writing from the last production
  3.  Making a set of masters of everything for Rodgers & Hammerstein to use for printing
  4.  Return originals to BK

TOD:
DVD:  3 Netflix items sitting here; I've really forgotten what they are since they've been lost in the bedbug shuffle (another forbidden dance)
CD:  mostly live performance things on my iTunes:
OH, LADY! LADY!, NO NO NANETTE, OH BOY! (Carnegie Recital Hall)
MUSIC IN THE AIR, EILEEN, THE NEW MOON, SWEET ADELINE, JUBILEE (New Amsterdam Theare Company)
BLUEBEARD (Ohio Light Opera), Guy Haines, Susan Egan
VCR:  Everything's in storage and I hate it!

Good Morning!

I'm up, I'm up.... And I was actually up a bit earlier.  I woke up right around 6:00am, remembered it was snowing, then went to look out the kitchen doors into the backyard.  After a few minutes of watching the snow, I was thinking that I might as well just stay up and awake, well.... Three more hours of sleep later... ;)

I mentioned a while back that they were starting to show DAMAGES (Glenn Close) and DEXTER here in Canada (the latter is also being shown on CBS).

I had asked for opinions. So i thought i'd share my feelings after a first viewing of each.

I really loved DAMAGES. I had not heard very much about this show.  But it was like nothing i have ever seen. It seemed more like a 1 hour movie, than a tv show.  Really liked the first show. Hopefully the rest of the shows will continue to impress me.

As for DEXTER, at first I was sort of grossed out by what i was seeing. And i don't think this will ever be my favorite show. But I found that they injected a lot of humour. And since he is only going after bad people, i think it could be quite interesting to see what happened.

Very different concept.  But i definitely think the Glenn Close show is more my taste.
