Good morning all. I have to run to the office and get 3 things done. They will take longer than it sounds, but I can't do them tomorrow as I will be in Des Moines all day and the week is looking very busy before my trip to Arizona on Thursday, so Hello Goodbye

For those of you who do such things, don't forget that we turn our clocks ahead one hour tonight. Spring forward and fall back!

Good morning everyone. Pierre must have some serious concerns about the winter weather as he is dragging each and every one of my scarves down from their hook.

That's what makes him so fun- he always keeps you guessing about what piece of furniture or category of clothing he will attack next. Never a dull moment.

Good morning!

My goodness, folks having snow and our LOW this morning was 50. I couldn't believe how mild it was when I stepped outside to get the newspaper. Looks like a gorgeous day ahead for us.

Today I'll be spending most of the day with THE ICE STORM. It has a new audio commentary which I'm eager to listen to.

Then, there is a second disc of bonus documentaries and features. Should occupy most of the rest of my day.

I wish I had slept better last night. I think having my big meal of the day at night just does not sit well with me now. I didn't have indigestion or anything like that. I think I was just still too full when I went to sleep.

I still haven't watched PROJECT RUNWAY's finale show. (BTW, I saw the ratings which must have pleased Bravo very much. No question that we'll get another season of this show. I'm happy about that.)

Good morning, everyone.

A rainy day here--fine with me, as I need an easy day. I haven't been sleeping well and could really use a nap later.

For any of you looking for a good mystery/thriller DVD, I highly recommend the BBC miniseries "State of Play," which I just reviewed for DVDTalk.  It's being adapted into a feature film starring Ben Affleck, but this is the original 6 hour miniseries and it's fantastic.

Today is Pacific Pops Choir performance day.  Our concert is entitled "A Stage and Screen Spectacular Starring Pacific Pops Choir" and features songs with some sort of "show" tie-in.  Y'all will know most of these already, but see if you can guess the connection:

Daybreak
And We Were Lovers
Green Leaves of Summer
Give a Damn
Time of Our Lives
Can't Help Falling in Love
Seasons of Love
Baby Elephant Walk
Nikki
Rhythm of Life
Light Sings

That's a lot of choral arranging, if I do say so myself.  :)

Pete & Gladys reruns used to air in the mornings in SLC when I was teeny-tiny.  I still remember an episode where Gladys was driving an old racecar (I think) and the steering wheel came off in her hands.

I think NBC was very surprised by the failure of THEN CAME BRONSON. It aired in the now LAW & ORDER timeslot: Wednesdays at 10 p.m.

Speaking of PETE & GLADYS, wasn't Cara Williams the Debra Messing of her day? That is, wasn't she expected to be the next Lucille Ball?

I was awakened by the door bell at eight - three rather energetic Hispanic ladies asked me where my garage sale was.  I told them where the garage was, but there was no sale there - they said there was one listed on Craig's List.  I went to Craig's List and could find no such listing.  I think they were trying to Gaslight me.

DH Richard and I have been outside playing in the shoveling snow.  We are now taking a break.

When I got up this morning I looked out the window over our kitchen sink and this is what I saw.  It's the corner of the roof of our family room.

And here's the same corner from the opposite direction, from the window in the family room.
