I think that GONE, BABY, GONE was a terrific picture and that Amy Ryan should have won the Oscar.
Yes, some of the dialogue was muffled, which is a shame, but I find that in a lot of movies these days.
On the other hand:
Last night, I finally saw JUNO and, although it was mildly entertaining and Ellen Page is quite good, I do not think it was worthy of all the raves it has received. It is definitely no LITTLE MISS SUNSHINE.
I think that LARS AND THE REAL GIRL, BEFORE THE DEVIL KNOWS YOU'RE DEAD and even GONE, BABY, GONE were more worthy of a Best Picture Oscar nomination.
And, the Best Original Screenplay statuette SHOULD have gone to MICHAEL CLAYTON.
