Well, according to the forecasts we were supposed to be having thunderstorms about right now. So this morning I got gas for the mower and literally nearly gave myself heat stroke doing the yard.  Of course after I got done and finally cooled down the humidity went down by 20%!  Now it's sunny with a breeze and less humidity.

Think I'll go find some geraniums and other flowers to plant.

Many thanks again to Dr Jose; Following your advice I acguired a 2nd row seat for a matinee of GYPSY in NYC; That show, CURTAINS, and BOEING BOEING wil be on my dance card; The other  2 slots I'm leaving open in hopes of getting via phone or cancellation line, a seat to SOUTH PACIFIC(Altho just to be on the safe side I got a front row center for next October); That, and changing apts, should keep me occupied for a while.

But before I leave, how about a dance with my late buddy Gordon Mitchell and Mae West!

You really don't know what you're missing.... I haven't beent o a Costco, we don't have them here, but I'm assuming they are something like a Sam's Club.   I like Target better than Wal-Mart

I prefer Target, too, but sometimes Wal-Mart has what one needs at a better price.

I'm heading down now, too. I've finished my writing and gotten that taken care of, so I will now put away the folded laundry and then clean my bathroom.

I took mum to a wedding shower yesterday for my Kissin' Cousin's son and his newly acquired fiancee.  Naturally, I had my camera in tow.  Fortunately, I snapped this shot of my cousin's sister's daughter's son and entered it in an online contest.  I quote now from the form letter sent from that contest:

I used to shop Target a lot for toiletries and other items when I lived in San Diego. They had good prices. I shop Target here, too, at times.

It only seems that way since you're another year older, DR Jeanne.   ;)

Happy belated birthday!

I have been to Target three times since one opened three miles from my house. (I bought my IPod there on my first trip).

Good Evening!

And, yes, it's an absolutely gorgeous day here in New York City.  So gorgeous, in fact, that I think I want to head out again.  Hmm...

The light in Wal-Mart drives me up the wall sometimes and gives me a headache.  Yes, some of the prices at Target may be slightly higher, but I tend to have a more pleasant shopping experience at Target too.  -And I love checking out all the endcaps for the Clearance Sale items!

*I also still remember shopping at a Super Wal-Mart and watching a check out person not wipe down the conveyor belt after a shopper had placed a leaking carton of milk and three family packs of chicken pieces on it.  -And just watching that wet-streak go round and round... :-\  -Not that that could not happen at other stores, but there was just no effort or apparent interest to clean it up.

No, I honestly wouldn't do that, although I wouldn't say he's a tough guy either.  It is what happened, though  ;)

I like Walmart and Target...Target does have some nifty home decor items, and like DR Jose, it is fun to check out the back end close-out end caps  :D

I maybe be going to Walmart in just a few as my cleaning and sorting is requiring that I buy some plastic containers.
