An example of why parents should talk to their adult children regarding their wishes & wills.

Well, my ex talked a great deal - not necessarily the same story to each kid; she said what was to be in her will but no copy was ever found (and both of the adult children living in the area had reason to find it and burn it!).

...Eldridge Street synagogue and Guss's Pickles.

Is the Pickle Emporium  inside the synagogue?

Both of you get your buttcheeks out there and walk Times Square!!!

Better yet, Christopher Street (a Wonderful Town reference).

Which reminds me that Joel McCrea's western THE OKLAHOMAN (1957) is one of my favorites as is Jody McCrea's THE BROKEN LAND (1961) which also stars Diana Darrin and Jack Nicholson.

Diana Darrin.

Now there's a name from my past.

She was one of my first 2 clients when I opened my publicity agency back in the mid-1960s.

The other was Charles Wagenheim.  Anybody remember him?

Listening to Randy Newman's new album - .. - it sounded like it was more like his last album, just a small group of musicians.  It's not that at all - full orchestra on certain tracks.

His Tonight Letterman Show gig had a full complement of stage musicians.

I didn't know those ladies.

Diana and I weren't together that long.

As I recall, she married a guy who owned a hair salon and retired to have a family.  What's she doing now?

She is divorced, retired and living in Los Angeles. Her son is actor and film maker Evan Richards. Her daughter is a personal assistant for a rather famous Hollywood personality.

... still I was glad he was on the leash.  I wasn’t concerned about him running after the deer, just running down the steep embankment & injuring his elbows.

Yeah ...that way he can run down the steep embankment dragging you behind, and you can join him in elbow injuring :)

Well, he's all muscle!  All calorie-burning muscle!

*And according to the commentary tonight, he's double-jointed and has size 14 feet!  Good to know, I guess.  ;)

TOD;

I'm not a westerns fan, but I've always loved YOJIMBO.

Is that the one with Stephen Boyd, Doris Day, and Jimmy Durante?

You obviously haven't seen some of the new swimsuit photos -they explain the size 14 feet.

No way!  I would have sat down fast & used my body to keep him from pulling.  I learned that trick many dogs ago. ;D

I think THIS might be closer to the most you will ever get.

I've copied this from George's post of a day ago (or so).
