I've written 2 - count 'em, 2!! - bars of music today. oy!

String them together in a long chain and you'll have a Glass Symphony.

So tonight is mine all mine, and I'll get to watch quite a few things for fun including the two TV shows still on the DVR and if I'm not in the mood for I NOW PRONOUNCE YOU CHUCK AND LARRY, I'll watch A CLEAR AND PRESENT DANGER on Blu-ray.

I watched the former Sunday morning.

I've gotta say I found it somewhat offensive....and sometimes touching and very funny.  It's a mixed bag.

I'll be interested to read your views.

Thanks, DR Noel, for your considered post!  What a loss we've all suffered.

And that sell wasn't too difficult in the wake of 9-11. Some people believe that since Bush couldn't find Bin Laden, he went after Hussain because the American people were mad and SOMEONE had to pay! It almost didn't matter whom.

Amy

Family Bush had it in for Saddam Hussein long before 9-11.

Short of eliminating the Electoral College, one potential way to fine-tune the election process, which some states are starting to pursue, is to award Electoral Delegates in amount proportional to the popular vote, rather than a winner-takes-all strategy.

I have read that also. I have also wondered about the necessity of the college also. It pits the big states against the small states and rural vs. urban states. Some states have a more urban population than others.

Well put Noel!

I agree, Gore would have had a sense of humility, something our current administration is lacking.

We are home & exhausted.  I would have waited until tomorrow to post if it weren't a double celebration today.

I've had a snack to give me an energy boost.  I've already begun laundry, next up clean sheets on our bed, suitcases to empty & more laundry.

It is good to be home!

Thanks Bruce, Dakota & George.  I wish I had the time & energy to read today's discussion.  It sounds interesting.  I remember how sad, yet fascinated, I was during watching the Florida election news.

I don't know why I'm so logey.  Also, the peach I ate doesn't seem to be making my tummy very happy.  At least I'm assuming it was the peach.
