Well, you've read the notes, the notes reeked of garlic, and now it is time for you to post until the reeking of garlic cows come home.

And a happy haineshisway.com birthday to Jenny, who I have a vague memory of being a very sweet young girl.

I just tried responding to a PM and got this message:

Database Error: MySQL server has gone away
File: /home/haineshisway/smf/Sources/Subs.php
Line: 631

Has that happened to anyone else?  I responded to an earlier PM just fine.

Young Frankenstein is coming out on Blu Ray on Tuesday. Here are some images from the movie. I love this movie,

[after failing to bring the creature to life]
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Nothing.
Inga: Oh, Doctor, I'm sorry.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: No. No. Be of good cheer. If science teaches us anything, it teaches us to accept our failures, as well as our successes, with quiet dignity and grace.
[starts beating up the creature]
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Son of a bitch! Bastard! I'll get you for this! What did you do to me? What did you do to me.
Inga: Stop it! Stop that! Stop it! You'll kill him!
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: I don't want to live. I do not want to live.
Igor: Quiet dignity and grace
[rolls eyes]
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: Oh... . mama... .

[From inside the haycart]
Inga: Hallo. Vould you like a roll in ze hay?
[Dr. Frankenstein stutters]
Inga: It's fun.
[She begins to roll in the hay]
Inga: Roll, roll, roll in ze hay.

Igor: Dr. Frankenstein... .
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: "Fronkensteen."
Igor: You're putting me on.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: No, it's pronounced "Fronkensteen."
Igor: Do you also say "Froaderick"?
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: No... .”Frederick."
Igor: Well, why isn't it "Froaderick Fronkensteen"?
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: It isn't; it's "Frederick Fronkensteen."
Igor: I see.
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: You must be Igor.
[He pronounces it ee-gor]
Igor: No, it's pronounced "eye-gor."
Dr. Frederick Frankenstein: But they told me it was "ee-gor."
Igor: Well, they were wrong then, weren't they?

We had a little rainstorm in the middle of the night. I hope it will clear the air of whatever's kicking up my allergies.

Sure was nice to hear rain...we're still in the middle of a drought in Atlanta, but at least the gas shortage seems to be over.

The new dog down the street is no longer tied to a tree.  There is a strong (I hope) rope tied to the house and then to the tree, and she has a lead that lets her trot along the length of the rope.  But she has no dog house or shelter.  She was sleeping when I drove by about half an hour ago.

I got bk's pm in my earthlink mail, but it doesn't show I have a new message on the HHW site. I'm sure there must be more things for me to adjust, but I like that you can adjust the time (or could you anyway and I never knew?)

I am shocked but not surprised at the behavior of the singer MR BK was working with.  I hope he goes to her show and sits in the front row.

Is it time for you to "get" a new dog, JRand? Why do people do this? I wonder if they are just using this dog as an alarm system. I've seen that around Atlanta... people chaining dogs outside their house just so no one will break in, and the dog gets no love or amenities beyond food and water for providing this "service" for them. I hope that's not the case here.
