BK, your event last night sounded swell! I wish I could have been there to see it. I have always liked Harrison Page, and he is on my list of people to someday interview....and it sounds as if he would make quite a good interviewee.

Hmmm... "Dreamgirls" looks pretty good in HD on a widescreen TV.  :)

JRAnd58 sent me a couple of episodes of the 1960s color anthology series KRAFT SUSPENSE THEATRE...I watched an episode last night which featured Gene Rowlands, Leslie Neilson, and Ida Lupino. It was quite good! I think I will watch the other episode this morning.

I have almost no voice right now - maybe after the run.  I'm just trying to wait until the sun heats up a little.

Of course, now it's so late I don't know that I want to go out to the Shrine, since I probably wouldn't be able to be heard anyway.  We shall see, but I think I'll go run now.

Well... It was OK.  The color was quite interesting - more yellower and brighter than Mountain Dew - which I didn't think was possible.  And, I do have to agree with one of the comments on the Jones Soda website, it does sort of taste like Mrs. Butterworth's Pancake Syrup.

*However, the "Lemon Drop Dead" flavor was pretty good. -They're small cans. ;)

It sure does.  I enjoyed reading the details.

That's me, DR Jane:  all the news that's fit to print.  (Of course there were other things going on which do not bear mention on a family site).    :o

DR Jose, I don't know how you can eat some of these flavors, at least not more than one taste.  They seem so sickening sweet to me. ;D

Like I said, they're small cans.  ;)  At least Jones uses real cane sugar and not high fructose corn syrup, so...  -And the Lemon Drop and Pomegranate flavors make good mixers. ;D

Back from the long jog.  Very nice outside.  So, I think I'll have a hot cup of EmergenC and then head over to the Shrine Auditorium.

Oh, cool! Alexandra's other sister - her step-sister - came down to visit today too!  It's her first time visiting the grandparents here in Richmond.  Needless to say, she's a bit on the shy side today (too).

Meanwhile, Uncle Jojo keeps dozing in and out of a napping state.  Must have been the Candy Corn Soda. ;)

Sunday afternoon greetings!  We're back from church and lunch in Cincinnati.  Rob and his girlfriend left right after church for their second trip this season to the Ohio Renaissance Festival and Richard and I went to I-HOP for those fruit crepes I've been seeing advertised on TV.  We certainly don't need a big dinner!
