Not much going on on the Internet today.  As Marthe Keller would say, "It's bowing."

Is this the same Marthe Keller who so poorly directed DON GIOVANNI at the Met?

Sorry for my brain aneurysm.

And did George Michael sing in your living room?

You can fix your avatar - it's quite simple - so can someone please tell Miss Karen the simple steps.
Not for her - her old avatar is a link from Photobucket - not a downloaded picture. She'll have to stay tiny with all of us who spared HHW storage space by linking rather than downloading.

Horror movies (and I don't like this movie): Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory. I think this is a very scary movie. All those children disappearing, and no one seems to care; they just continue on through that weird candy factory as if that is all that matters.

But, DR Laura....Willy Wonka had rules.  Children who disobey rules cannot be missed.

Surely it's as potent as a Grimm tale in original context..."Be good or else."

As for the uninterrupted tour through the factory, that was the point, too.  There was no other reason to be there THAN to tour the factory.  Why should anyone who has been good and followed rules be denied the tour that they won?

:D

I'm recently back from a short walk by the lake...a mile or so.  It was frightfully warm and there's some little something in the air that caused my eyes to tear.

IF you and I had been in that Factory on the same tour, I'd have kept you out of trouble (and harm's way).

But you can now put your pic into your profile and it should work fine - we seem to have much more space now.

I think tonight's "Ugly Betty" is going to be fun.  The promos with Gio "hating on" Betty promise an hour's amusement.

I am very much looking forward to tonight's "Grey's Anatomy", as well.

Just found out that the online store that took half of the Laurette pressing has now sold out, too.  I think it's safe to say that everyone who got one now has a real OOP collector's item.

Is this an on-going investigation or a little "off-script" dilly-dallying?

Well, that was a delayed response.   ;D

In all seriousness, it occurred to me last night that a DR or two has occasionally used the "f" word and other profanities in discussing this and that and that could be what's causing the offensive content dispute.

I guess I just realized what I'll be doing for at least part of this weekend - addressing a whole mess of packages for Laurette - addressing and affixing postage so that when CDs arrive next week all I have to do is insert the CD, seal the box and take to the postal office.
