Does anyone have any idea why I am not getting sound while watching a youtube video?

Have you somehow hit the "Mute" button in the YouTube player window?

I can see the heath bar pieces but not the coffee, it almost looks like vanilla.

As for Jello, it is far from full proof as far as I'm concerned.

It was definitely coffee ice cream.  Maybe your monitor's colors are off.  ;)

*Although, Bev's does ship, so....

Product placement is crucial.  Jayne Mansfield made it a way of life.

Speaking of tonight's episode of "Ugly Betty"... ;)

Thanks to DRs Jane, Jose, Laura, and George for the travel vibes.  We're driving down tomorrow, partying Saturday and Sunday, and driving back Monday.  Actually, my sister will do most of the driving (it's her van) and I'm the navigator.  We'll see how our almost 90-year-old mother and almost 80-year-old aunt (the mother of the groom) hold up.

Then, a week from Monday, I get to take another trip to Wisconsin with Richard and Rob for Richard's graduation from Nashotah House.

Must sleep now.  I'll probably be E & T most of the weekend, but will try to pop in from the hotel's business center.

'night!

Each drive will be 8-10 hours, I suspect.

DR Cillaliz - I forget, is your Dad still in the hospital?  Or now that he's drunk all the "stuff" will he have to go in for the follow-up?

No, he's at home and doesn't have to go back unless he has more problems.  Mom thinks he's just tired and cranky today because he was in the bathroom all night and didn't get any sleep.  Now that he's all cleaned out, so to speak, he should recover just fine.  At least that's the plan. I'm really glad they changed their plans this weekend and didn't try to go anywhere, now he can get some rest and get better.

Thanks to everyone for the vibes and prayers for my dad. It's really appreciated.  I think he'll be ok now, but whenever he wants to go to the hospital, like mom said he did yesterday, it causes me a lot of concern.

DR TCB - for some reason, I thought Ms. Dean had already passed away......my guess is that her artifacts are much more valuable at auction than that article suggests.

DR TCB - Miss Jayne Mansfield met her Waterloo in a 1966 Buick Electra - had she been in an Imperial the result might have been different.....but then again....maybe not.

Being the last survivor, and especially since she needs the money to pay for nursing home fees, I would hope that people would bid more than they would under normal auction circumstances.  It's not like a private collector is just getting rid of some stuff and wants to get rich.

As they say...big high and bid often! :D

DR TCB, did you see this article on the last survivor of the Titanic?  Last Titanic survivor sell mementos to pay for care

That was an interesting reply, I forgot you might have met her in person.

No I hadn't seen the article.  Thank you, Jane, for the link.  I never got to meet Ms. Dean personally, although I did say hello to her when we arrived back from the site.  The slideshow picture says that she was on the Royal Majesty with me, but I thought she was on the other ship that went to the site.  The only survivor I ever got to meet and talk to was Eleanor Johnson Schuman.  She signed the print I have of the Titanic Grand Staircase.
