I watched three Dragnet episodes, which were absolutely fascinating, as Jack Webb had a different partner - these were from the very beginning of the series, I gather, in 1952 early 1953. They still were crediting the radio series at that point, and I think they were actually just recycling the radio scripts, as there is only one guest star in each of these episodes (the guest star in the first I watched was Lee Marvin, who was absolutely superb).
