Some folk here were talking about J.D. Salinger's The Catcher in the Rye last week.In yesterday's NY Times Book Review, one of the dealers was offering a first edition. For a mere $18,500.00.Does anyone want to buy it for DR The Vixter's school report?

Dear BK - I think you should eat at The Renaissance Diner on 9th Avenue.

Are they a seasonal item on the West Coast?Interesting, they should be seasonal on both coasts. I can't get them here anymore, at least I haven't seen them for a number of years now. My brother gets me a box at a little market near him.

Whip The Renaissance into shape, Jose; I plan to dine there when I'm in town to see EQUUS.
...And if you put a Little Debbie's Oatmeal Cream Pie in the microwave for a couple of seconds...
I've been enjoying reading about all the wonderful trips. I'm sorry I won't be sticking around to read more. My body is screaming at me to take a break from the computer. So for the next week, except for work & email, I'm going to try & stay off of it.HAPPY THANKSGIVING!
I often recommend that Turkish restaurant around the corner from DR Rodzinski's apartment, but nobody ever goes. It was very, very good.
DR MBarnum - Define "often".
DR td - and here I thought you were KIDDING with your recent Facebook comment...
