I;m back from a fantastic celebration of Thanksgiving with some very wonderful people I'm grateful to consider my friends. Skip's meal, as is par for him, was quite wonderful and, as is par for both him and DR FJL, extremely generous: delicious turkey, mashed potatoes, a wonderful "kitchen sink" stuffing with all sorts of surprises, green beans, and three desserts, about which more in a moment. Mary Jay made some excellent cornbread and brought a wonderful pumpkin bread from Amy's. There were three desserts: a scrumptious pumpkin pie with wonderful spices, a Jefferson Davis pie, which had a date-pecan layer between the pie crust and filling, and a flourless chocolate cherry cake, which was something I wanted to try but never got to. I had plenty of everything else.
I think it was a most successful day and i would have stayed longer but I was getting anxious about getting home and taking my meds. Thanks for a great day, DR Fjl and Skip!
BK, by the way, looks fantastic.
Now, as to all this speculation about my redoing my drawers, I'm fascinated that such a simple and mundane household task of rearranging/tossing out the contents of various drawers in file cabinets has engendered thoughts about my underwear. So here's a pair of drawers you can fantasize about redoing.
