I have errands to run.

Oh, yes.  Errands to run.

I have to drop stuff off at the Salvation Army.

I have to go into San Francisco and find some earrings to match two necklaces I bought this past July 3rd.

I have to print some address labels and then mail holiday pins to  the "womenfolk" in my family.

And tonight...I have to address holiday  cards.   Sigh.

I am very impressed with the quality of the ones taken by you, BK, with the iPhone.  I wish I could say there is an iPhone in my near future.  I think I would like to be able to access some of my files with the mobile Me.
I am most green with envy.  ;)  :)

I may have missed it but are you also doing notes and posting with the iPhone?  If so then I am double green with envy.

Posting is possible via/with an iPhone.

However, even though bk could write the Notes in "Notes", I don't think he's not able to post the Notes to HHW via the iPhone - although, that may be possible via some sort of e-mail set up.  -Heck, there's still not "Cut/Copy and Paste" functionality on the iPhone.

I didn't go to Thelma's last night.  I wanted to but by the time I divided the turkey up into the storage bag's to be used for sandwiches, some for soup and some for Sheena, then I cleaned the kitchen up--I just didn't feel like going out.

I just sat in my chair like so much fish and vegged but then the TV started doing a pixel/stuttering thing so I had to call Brighthouse.  They promised to send out a tech today to fix it around 2 o'clock.

He just left.

My how time flys!  That was the fastest I've ever seen two o'clock get here in a long time.  ;)

I had a very nice sleep and woke with fresh purpose.   I was house cleaning when he showed up.  I've found that with the new bluetooth headphones, I put my music on and get a lot more done around the house instead of just watching the tv.

I'm embarrassed to say that I even do a little dancing while I'm cleaning.

I don't know if anyone here has heard of the group, Empty Hats, but they play at the local Ren Fest.  I bought one of their CD's last time I was there and some of the music will get your toe to tapping.  And even with a broom for a partner, you can dance quite a jig.

Right now, since Mr. Cable Man has just left, I made myself a cup of jasmine/lavender dreams tea and am taking a small break.

Congrats to Dr Jose on his milestone!

I could not have done it without you, DR Danise.  -Well, and your computer issues.  ;)

Don't go to far--there may be more Issues to come.  I'm still trying to figure out just how the heck I can get sound with the Parallels Desktop.  I did manage to get videos to work but with no sound.  I must be missing a driver.

I am most pleased with myself that I did manage to get my old Windows Office 97 to load with no problems.  It is neat to have both systems available.

Oh and after my post about not having everyones address yesterday, I remembered my laptop  (duh) and managed to find most (if not all) of them.  I may be missing a few because I don't remember when I synced it last with the main computer before it died.

I then did an export and transfered them to the Windows 97 Office on the Apple.  I'm just trying to figured out how to do another export TO the Apple address book.  I've tried doing it twice with very bad results.  Double entries, stuff missing, stuff on another card with no reference to who it belongs to, etc.

I don't have time to get back into it today because I want to finish my cleaning but I will work on it sometime this weekend.

Well, enough of a break.  It's back to the salt mines for me.

Also time to start to listen to some Holiday Classic's--like "The Twelve Pains of Christmas", "The Chimney Song", "Wreck The Malls" and that all time favorite of mine, "I'm Dressin' Up Like Santa (When I Get Out On Parole)".

Friday afternoon greetings!  I slept, fitfully, until about 9:15am and Richard and I just finished cleaning up the kitchen and putting the dining room back together.  End of Thanksgiving, now for some Christmas prep - slowly and not all at once.

Later this afternoon, I'm gathering with my relatives at my mom's to visit and look at family pictures.  It's fun showing my cousin's new wife all the embarrassing photos of him when he was a kid.

I'm up, I'm up... And I'm pretty sure I will be observing Black Friday by not observing it. ;)

T.O.D.

DVD:

WHITE CHRISTMAS - I enjoy the movie, but don't love it.

THE GAY DECEIVERS - I think I saw this movie three or four times when it came out because it seemed so scandalous in its day.  It was also the first time I had ever seen Michael Greer in a film.

CD:

A CHRISTMAS CAROL / A CHILD IS BORN -  I will admit it.  I love this CD.

BOOK:  A new cozy mystery I picked up at the library.
