I shall now be on my way to rehearse with Mr. Spirtas and Miss Purl, after which I shall go to John's Pizza.  Is elmore coming?  He'd better be.

No. I'm in a meeting about my manuscripts! I'm mucho sorry.

BTW, DR Ben left me a message while I was at physical therapy; he will be absent tonight as well.

DR Elmore - didn't you get a new iMac not long ago?  Is this an additional computer or a replacement?

True, but only as a download for now.  It won't be available as a physical CD (and booklet with notes and photos) for a while, yet.

That's funny.  The website said "Available Dec 2," and it let me place my order.  I guess it won't ship for a while?

Except that now I want to watch the DVD of White Christmas....all this talk is driving me to it.

I thought about watching that last night but opted for HANS CHRISTIAN ANDERSEN on MGM-HD. But I'll get to WHITE CHRISTMAS reasonably soon.

I have some writing to do (just a bit), and then I'll be back downstairs to rejoin Optimus Prime and the other 'bots as they battle the Decepticons.

I guess I need to join Facebook to view the pictures.

Will I be obligated to be "cool" there?

My White Christmas is not looking so good with my Upconvert DVD player on my LCD TV....hmmmmmmm.....but it's not the wires....

Anyway...after ALL these years.....I realized long ago that Rosemary Clooney was playing a character named Betty and that she had a singer sister named Betty....but for some reason, I just realized that Bing was playing a character named Bob....and of course his brother Bob was a bandleader....

Not an earth shattering discovery to be sure.....

Happily rehearsing but taking a break. More later. I remember a time whenget togethers with me were a special event. Now it's nothing. Oh well, looking forward to whoever shows up.

Yes, I'm afraid I will not be there tonight. I'm very sorry to miss the festivities especially after such a sparkling review.

Jose, if you have any time, even an hour, between Wednesday December 03 and Friday, December 12, (Monday through Friday) we can always use a youthful, intelligent (read able to follow directions) and friendly face. Just come to the 2nd floor of Equity (you know where that is) and tell the person at the desk that you're there to work on the bags and come through to the big rooms in the back. We would love to see you.

Since we have just had a death in the family, I couldn't fit in two nights out in a row.  Sorry!

WARNING!   DANGER, Jack Randall Earles!  DANGER!

Said DVD on a high definition large screen will DISAPPOINT you.  It is NOT anamorphic; it needs major rejuvenation and cleansing.

Be prepared!

Maybe Bing and Rosie saw the writing on the wall and wanted their siblings' names more closely associated with their characters than their own.

I think I may be the victim of a conspiracy:

The copy of Wall-E I ordered from DDD arrived today - but it is the 3-Disc Blue Ray version, not the 3-disc Special edition I ordered. (The shipping list shows the part number for the SE, and I was only charged for the SE).

Now, I either have to go through the hassle of a return, or…

der Brucer

WalMArt is currently out of stock of their $148.00 Memorex BluRay Players

It is DEFINITELY a sign....of something or other...

SPOILSPORT WARNING AHEAD ABOUT TONIGHT

Strange that we finalized where to go because of specific budgetary concerns and now that doesn't seem to be an issue based on who's coming and who's not coming, and at this point it's probably too late to change the venue.

Guess the 2008 way is that yes means yes unless something better comes up.  I thought that was the under-30 approach, but I suppose that's the way it is.

Well, once we all gather in the lobby of John's - since they will not sit an incomplete party anyway - if "we" decide to head to another place for dinner, well... That could be an option.

What time does The Little Pie Shop close?  ;)

True, but only as a download for now.  It won't be available as a physical CD (and booklet with notes and photos) for a while, yet.

That's funny.  The website said "Available Dec 2," and it let me place my order.  I guess it won't ship for a while?

Hmm...I thought that I had read that the CDs would ship later. :-\

Maybe not! :D

They tend to ship them as soon as they have them in stock.  However, they will not ship them to stores until later.  Although, they sometimes "sneak" a box or two to the Virgin Megastore in Times Square ahead of the street date.

Well, Boeing-Boeing just officially announced their closing - January 4, 2009.  Alas, with their numbers lately, that's not really a surprise - and since it was originally supposed to be a semi-limited engagement, well, they've had a good run.

YELLOWSTONE KELLY is on the Westerns channel this month.  Clint Walker, Edd Byrnes, and Rex Reason.....one of many movies I saw at the drive in as a kid that I always enjoy watching again.

...do take note DR JRand, it is Mr. Rhodes Reason, not his older brother Rex that is in Yellowstone Kelly..don't want to mix up our Reasons...and also Andra Martin is in the mix! I just love her.
