Well, you've read the notes, the notes were back to normal and there was a part two, and now it is time for you to post until the normally normal cows come home.

Topic of the Day:  not much.  I'm in a show!

But, on my DVR to be watched:  episodes of "Heroes" (4 episodes), "Fringe" (also 4 episodes), "Grey's Anatomy" and "Ugly Betty" (one episode each).  That's a lot of TV watching to ketchup on.

I have two DVDs from Netflix, but I don't know where they are. :-\

CD player:  the Japanese cast recording of Wicked...again. :)

The Olympian, the local newspaper, did a video report of Reefer Madness! The Musical!  Click HERE and scroll to when the time shows about 3 minutes left! :D There may be a 30 second ad before it runs, but you don't have to subscribe.

And speaking of the show that I'm in...last night's final dress rehearsal went very well!  We sold out our actor's benefit preview performance and we each got $30.  Nice!  That means that people donated more than the $5 minimum. :D

DR JOSE GUESSING GAME FROM YESTERDAY

And as for the forthcoming "closing" announcement, well... I'm sorry for dangling that bit of news out there.  I'm also sorry for using the word "closing", since it's not really a closing of a show that is involved.  However, I thought the official press announcement was supposed to occur this afternoon, but it appears that it hasn't, so...

We will all just have to wait.

From BK

the news is everywhere now - just not official.  'll let the word become official, Jose.  It's just been on all the usual sites - as soon as I heard the rumor I looked on the usual sites.  I guess someone talked to someone on the creative team, although I'd first heard about it at the benefit.

From DR JOSE

GREASE?

Wink

That's old news.

*However, there is a connection.

Well, since there's a (slim) chance I'll have a show after January, well...

But in the meantime...

SOUL OF SHAOLIN

THE AMERICAN PLAN

HEDDA GABLER - with Mary-Louise Parker, Michael Cerveris, Paul Sparks, Peter Stormare

YOU'RE WELCOME AMERICA. A FINAL NIGHT WITH GEORGE W BUSH - Will Ferrell's new show.

GUYS AND DOLLS

HAIR

REASONS TO BE PRETTY

IMPRESSIONISM - with Joan Allen and Jeremy Irons

WEST SIDE STORY

BLITHE SPIRIT - with Angela Lansbury, Christine Ebersole, Jayne Atkinson, Rupert Everett and Simon Jones

ACCENT ON YOUTH

9 TO 5: THE MUSICAL

WAITING FOR GODOT - with Bill Irwin and Nathan Lane

MARY STUART - with Janet McTeer and Harriet Walter

Plus, the continuing runs of:

August: Osage County
Avenue Q
Billy Elliot
Chicago
Gypsy (through March)
In the Heights
Jersey Boys
Mamma Mia!
Mary Poppins
Pal Joey (through mid-February)
Shrek
South Pacific
Speed the Plow (through the end of February)
The 39 Steps (which will transfer to the Helen Hayes)
The Lion King
The Little Mermaid
The Phantom of the Opera
Wicked

My Guess:
Vanities
Lyceum Theatre

A coming-of-age story about three Texas girls who reach adulthood in the turbulent '60s, it has music to match the period and a epilogue that brings their lives full circle.

Opening 26 Feb 2009
Closing Open-Ended

Good morning, all! I have one drawer to repair (I knew there would be something!), and I'm back to Frank Loesser. At noon, I have physical therapy, and the rest of the day is mine.

DR MBarnum, I understand from Netflix that DOSTANA is out on DVD next week.

DR singdaw, please don't be jealous; sometimes those adages about old dogs and new tricks are true, and I may do as well with Finale as my new chest.

TOD:
DVD:  Nutracker, A Christmas Carol, several Netflix selections
CD: Nutcracker, various and sundry Christmas CDs, Guy Haines, Liz Callaway, Were The World Mine
VCR:  mating customs amongst the sleazy
