Photographer Richard Howe captured every street corner in Manhattan, about 11,000 total.

WOW!

And I thought my own personal photographic - and digestive - journal-ing of every bakery in New York City was impressive.

;)

Well, he didn't get every single solitary street corner. Hate to be a stick in the mud but he didn't get 16th or 15th Street and Union Square West (not exactly my corners but as close as he could come if he's working up Broadway). He jumps from Broadway and 14th Street to Broadway and 17th Street, skipping 15th and 16th Street on Union Square West/Broadway. Perhaps he skipped because therer are only two corners, not four (the northwest corner and the southwest corner, the other "corners" are the parking lot/Greenmarket in Union Square Park) or perhaps he skipped because Union Square West is the official name of the street, not Broadway and he wanted to stay just with Broadway. Anyway, it's still fun to look at although I think our hits have helped the poor man exceed his bandwith for the day. I just got an error message saying the bandwith had been exceeded.

We are putting up our tree and I'm posting  from the living room with the laptop.

Later, gaters.

Does anyone use a webcam for work or pleasure?

The mind boggles at the responses we'd get during "Truth or Dare"!

;)

I got one YEARS ago, but my computer (at the time) couldn't easily handle the processing required for it.  I know my computer now could, but the camera is probably too old. ;)

It should still work though I'm not sure about the quality of the image.

Probably...very low resolution.  And I would have to find it.  It's buried in a box somewhere, like so much of my stuff.

A box large enough to hold Sherlock would be rather difficult to loose. ;)

Well, I need to be going.  My sister wants me to help her put up Christmas decorations at her house.

Until later!

It's taken me a little while to figure out what's going on in this photograph.

Daniel Radcliff is going to be the new spokesperson for a coffee company.

He's been hired to give new zing to the catchphrase, "The best part of waking up is Folger's in your cup."

Well, I am tired of being a brave boy.  I hurt and I am going to go to bed.

Thank you all for the good wishes.

G'night!

Evening all.  I only have time for one post because I have the hit the hay early.  I have to be up at 4 AM to make it to my bus stop to be picked up at 5:30 AM with a friend from work so we can carpool to a meeting that we both have to help set up.  Ugh.  I don’t know how I get talked into doing these things.

I couldn’t let the day go by without wishing our very own Dear BK the most happiest of birthdays!  It may be your birthday but the biggest gift was given to us.

You can watch “It’s a Wonderful Life” and know that yours made a big difference for some people.

Dear Vixter, I am so happy to see that you posted.  Much love, hugs and vibes to you and your family.  Tell your Mom she is thought of.

We won’t get “Boston Legal” tonight because of some stupid football game.  The LAST show and they move it to sometime on Sunday afternoon.   Hummmp!

My favorite Christmas songs (in no particular order)

Oh Holy Night – Michael Crawford
The 12 Pains of Christmas
There’s Something Stuck Up In the Chimney
I’m Dressing Up Like Santa (as soon as I can get out on Parole)
Angels We Have Heard On High
Do You Hear What I Hear?
White Christmas

Oh heck, I like them all—Well, except “Grandma Got Run Over By a Reindeer”.  But I do really like the funny ones.  I love that “Twisted Christmas” CD.

Laters all!

I received a wonderful calendar from Mr. OvOz today. It will replace last years, which hold the place of honor on our refridgerator and every day we get to see strange beasties from down under. (My favorite: the tree kangaroo).

I envy Ben and Ant putting up their wonderful tree, remembering how beautiful it was last year! With 4 cats it will be a few years before we have a tree again, but I had fun decorating the mailbox and am working on the front door little by little. It's been very cold and I've had the flu the last few days but tried to do too much outdoor stuff like food drives over the weekend and now I'm paying the price.

We still had trees with cats.  Do yours climb them?  We put non-breakable decorations on the bottom of the tree in case they decided to bat them.

This will be Sherlock's first tree since the boys & their fiancées should be coming for the holidays.

I had a tree with Callie and Nilla, but Boo is a climber, she used to climb trees all the time when she lived outside, so I haven't taken a chance...maybe in a couple years, but not now.

I just uploaded a new photo.

How do I make it larger?

I don't think anyone has figured that out yet. THose of us with larger pictures are using older ones that were already on file with the site.

Unfortunately, any new avatar can only be 65 by 65 pixels. :-\

Thanks.  I guess I'll go back to the old one.
