DR George can you catch the parts of LETTERMAN that you missed either on cbs.com or youtube?

I'm sure that it'll be available on-line, but I wanted to watch Darlene sing the song on my hi-def plasma TV. :)

I know we have been requesting a lot of HHW vibes these day, but if you find a few spare ones rattling around in your pocket, could you send them towards my supervisor, Julia?  She is on a three week trip to Guinea with a group from the states, and if you've seen world news today you know that their long time dictator/president died yesterday and now the military is claiming that they are taking over the country.  I'm sure she's safe, but it might be awhile before she can come home.

A very Merry Christmas Eve to all!

I'm sorry I haven't posted the past couple of days.  After I made my last post, I got the overwhelming urge to go lay down.  But that wasn't for long--I have to get up and lose my dinner.  After about another hour, I got back up and lost my lunch.  The same with breakfast and  then yet again for anything else that was left.

I had to go to work on Monday even though I felt pretty sick because we had to set our desks back up after the  new carpet was put down.  By the time I got home, I just wanted to go right to bed.  I haven't been as sick as I was Sunday night but I've been eating very light, mostly soup and crackers. And I'm still very tired by the time I get home.

My stomach still doesn't feel right.

I wanted to go see Thelma's husband but I didn't want to risk making him sick with whatever I've got.

Ugh.

I should do the long jog but it looks so CHILLY out.  And it looks like it might rain.  What to do?  If I do the long jog I can EAT MORE tonight.  I must do it.

BK, have you thought about getting your very own treadmill?  That way, you could jog anytime that you want...even at 2:00 in the morning...and during any weather conditions! :D

I think I got what ever this is from the folks at the dog park.  Several of them mentioned they were sick.  I tried to stay away from them but I guess not far enough.

DR George - I don't think "Letterman" ran over last night.  Does your DVR/Tivo have the time slot set from 11:38-12:38?

I don't remember what specific time it was set for, but my DVR stopped recording (without any indication of any kind of problem) about a minute into Darlene Love's song, so something was not right, last night. :-\

Back from the dentist.  My rear-most wisdom tooth partially cracked off, below the gum line.  My doctor worked his usual magic.  Time shall tell if that did the trick, or if the tooth will ultimately have to be removed.  Thank G-d for insurance!!

It is nearly 40 degrees today with a lot of rain.  So no chance of being like DR GEORGE and getting stuck at the DQ!

DR DtM - I enjoyed the pictures of Christmasvillage Town....but I really liked the train ride!  What fun.  Thanks so much!  I almost needed my Dramamine!

Well, then it's a good thing that the battery on my camera ran out of power because I had planned on finishing the trip by running the train in reverse!

I also loved the trip through Christmasvillage Town.

Thank you, MBarnum!  I gave Ebonie her first antibiotic this morning and had to leave.  The instructions say that it could cause vomiting, diarrhea AND loss of appetite! :o What's that all about??  What am I going to come home to?? :P

At the encouragement of - and after some suggestions from - some chatters, I did a redraft of the "Fish" number (a parody, to the tune of Zip), and wanted to get that version on the permanent innernet also  :)

(to the tune of Zip) ....

I loved this, FJL!

DR George i'm just catching up on last night's late posts. And your suggestion of ice cream topping (for the soft fudge) was my mom's suggestion too.

Jennifer, what about using it as a fondue?  That could be very good! :D
