Danise, the pound is a good idea -- that is where people go to look for their dogs. Then if the owner's don't come, they will let you have the dog for a LOT less than if you paid the vet yourself.

I could use a few vibes.  I really need a morning appointment with a doctor.  I've never had one before but I'm pretty sure I have a bladder infection.

Feel better vibes for DR Jane.

They promised we were going into a warming trend.  Where do they think I live?  Portland?

Lots of hainsies/kimlets here, but not lots of postings.  They must be busy reading.  I don't really want to read this VERY long script today, but alas, I must.  It's over 130 pages - and it's a musical - and all the songs aren't in the script.  Which means that going in this is going to be close to three hours long.

Those pages had better be double-spaced.

I am still agog at the idea of the show that DR DRUXY mentioned yesterday....the one that featured Pat Harrington, Eddy Arnold, and Billy deWolfe.

It wasn't Pat Harrington.  It was Hugo Montenegro.
Hugo Montenegro, Billy DeWolfe and Eddy Arnold?!   What kind of gig would those three have done together?

It was a show at, as I recall, Melodyland in Anahiem...way back in the 1960s.

I just hired my own building inspector to go with us to do our home inspection in Austin on Wednesday.  This is the "framing inspection"...before they put up the drywall.

Peace of Mind.

I wondered why Micky Rourke looks so bad. 5 years of boxing really did take a toll

Not to mention all those years of drinking and drugging.

Yeah that too

I threw out a lot of junk. Nothing valuable or family stuff.  It wasn't easy but man it felt good when I was done.

I bet you haven't missed any of it.

Right now I can't even tell you what it was.  Maybe one or two things but mostly, I don't even remember.  I could stand to do it again

While waiting for the laundry, I decided to venture down the basement where I ended up hanging half the wall paper I will put up in the hallway.   I think I like it.  I got this great spray stuff to put on the back of the paper to activate the adhesive.  Man does it work and it isn't messy at all.  I'll finish it up later this week.

Finished watching a motion picture and eating mediocre Jambalaya and a cucumber roll - not what I wanted at all, but thanks to those lazy Studio City mothers, who have to buy TEN chicken tenders each, that is what I was stuck with.  Oh, well.  I shall now try and get some writing done.

I really enjoyed BENJAMIN BUTTON, one of the saddest films I've ever seen. I thought the score was both evocative and appropriate and the cast quite good. Charlotte thought little of Miss Blanchet's dancing but she did like the movie.

Now to catch up on things.

Shane Fenton starts it and Billy Fury finishes it up.....what might have happened if Sam Katzman had made a movie in England in 1961.
