In actual answer to your question, what's your lowest price point where you can still make a decent profit?  Maybe 12.98 or 13.98?  With a caveat listed in the description (which I know you always do).

I wore platform shoes, clogs, huge "elephant bell" bell-bottoms, hip huggers, hot pants, tie-dyed shirts, army fatigues, bandanas...I was basically a drug-free hippie.

What, no one did EST?  Me no believe.

Betsy did.  You probably know it's now called The Forum.  We have a bunch of friends who are constantly urging us to go through the gauntlet--they get extra credit or something if they recruit people.  ;)

I have one of those friends. It took me a long time to figure out that EST= the Forum. She never convinced me to go, and I didn't like being around her when she was doing it because she felt compelled to tell her friends what they were doing wrong in their lives and trying to "fix"them using forum methods. Ack.

I just read that due to the digital switchover, February sweeps this year are going to take place instead in March, so expect a fair number of reruns in February this year and lots of new episodes in March instead of the other way around.

How is this going to work out with March Madness basketball games being televised on CBS?

Good Morning!  I am now enjoying day two away from work.  This will be a five day weekend; except, of course, that the play opens tomorrow night.

Yesterday, I spent most of my first day off sitting around waiting for my new cell phone to be delivered.  The day was almost over before I realized that my phone was snowbound in Indianapolis (which is near Portland).

I'm actually listening to it (I burned a copy from iTunes) and it's better than I thought - a little noisy at times but he really did a good job, especially if you heard what he was working from.  I think it'll be fine.  $15.98 is about the lowest I can go and make any dough at all, especially because this mastering charge is going to be really high.

I have a conundrum and it requires me revealing the new Kritzerland release (replacing Lady Oscar) - I need opinions.

For those who have Laurette, you know I love incidental music from plays and our next release (not for publication) are two incidental scores from plays, including what is considered to be the most classic 20th century play.  That music is composed by a major film composer who also did the film version of the play.  The second score is by one of my personal favorite composers (composed one of the best scores of the 1960s) to a play based on a famous foreign story and then classic film.  Now, the music from the classic play had to be mastered from acetates, which is all that was available (at least that I could locate - who knows what might turn up some day, although I would doubt a tape source would ever turn up, unless it was just acetates put on tape).  The acetates, which appeared to be in okay shape, were just very very noisy, had a little groove distortion, etc.  The mastering guy did a really good job cleaning it up, but, after listening to it last night, it's still sounds a little dicey to me.  So the question becomes does history outweigh sound issues?  The intention was at make this a 15.98 release like Laurette and the first Herrmann, both of which came from acetate or vinyl sources.

The problem with this one is that, unlike Laurette, there are only five or six instruments, so it's easier to hear the problems.  But the music is wonderful - the second score is in stereo and will sound fine.  And the CD will run over sixty minutes.  Please let me know what you think.

Car will remain in the shop until tomorrow as they have to order a switch.  Hopefully, there isn't any transmission damage.  I have a rental for now, hopefully just for a day.  I will not complain... in 6 years of having the Honda Element, I have not had ONE major thing wrong with it.  It's been very faithful.  A little TLC might be what it needs at this time.

On TV Tonight!™

CBS - CSI, ELEVENTH HOUR
CW  - SMALLVILLE, SUPERNATURAL
FOX - AMERICAN IDOL, HELL'S KITCHEN (season premiere)
USA - BURN NOTICE

I don't think you watch this but PRIVATE PRACTICE is new as well.

Argh! You're right. I totally overlooked it. I've modified the above listing.

But I list MANY shows I don't watch myself.

True enough. But i think you usually do ABC. So i figured you just overlooked it by mistake.

DR Jose, i also saw from the previews that spike and andrew would be on.  That was very cool info about carla surprising her husband. I do NOT like that the judges feel that they should judge based only on that week's dish. Maybe for quickfire. But i think you need to look at the contestant on the whole (and i actually think they do this even if they can't say that they do). I just want leah out. I do not find her good at all. And then hosea can go too. I think carla is fun and funny but up to par with jamie and stefan. I love fabio. He is hilarious and i hope he makes it to the F3. Wow - the salmonella-suspect peanut product list is long, and a bit alarming

Famous Amos
Keebler
Jenny Craig
Nutisystem
Wal-Mart
Trader Joe's
Whole Foods Market
Petsmart
ShopRite
Wegman's

In short - cookies, candy, snack crackers, health bars, some ice cream, and any institutionally prepared food (like a company/school cafeteria with peanut flavor offerings.

I'm guessing DR Jose was happy to see his twitter friends on the show last night! I was really unhappy with the elimination method. The 3 worst chefs (carla, leah, hosea) all won their rounds. And 3 of the 4 best chefs (fabio, stefan and jeff all lost). I was really mad because those 3 were really good. Not happy one of them had to go home. I"m not crazy about stefan's attitude sometimes but he is a great chef. And my favorites were jeff and fabio (although i think jamie is great too just not my fav). The Superbowl idea was good. But not happy one of my favs went (although i prefer fabio). END OF SPOILERS ufoauf oid ufoaufodufoudofaudoisufoidufoiudiof ud oifu odsufidusdufduofuoiuouu ui jjkjjkjkjkjlj kjlkjl
