Oh well....today is the family planning meeting wherein our parents meet with us to tell us of their final arrangements and wishes so that nothing is left to chance or whim.It will be a fun evening.

But it just seems so wrong to me to cut up books.DR Jennifer - that's a standard rebinding practice for paperbacks. The alternative would probably be discarding the book all together.I did not know that. I need to check my library. But i have never seen a book rebinded in this way. Although all the soft covers i've taken out from my library have been the larger one. I am going to check and see what the smaller ones look like. But i just found it very odd (it looks odd too).

Although one of the Cast Rec Listers said that if you downloaded it from I-Tunes (I don't know if it's available on other sites) you get that encoded information

(I still remember that it took a few hours for the track names for the "Dreamgirls" soundtrack track names to come up when it was originally released - which really surprised me.)

JoseSPiano:DR Dan (the Man) - Do you have a matching hat and glove to go with your package?*I'm not DR DAW.
My question for ASK BK day:What is your favorite 45 rpm record ever recorded.....perfect matching of song/artist/production.....it never gets old no matter how many times you hear it.....
DR Jose, I think you might be right about the cd having some digital signature. It just may be that the iTunes database does not yet have the info on ALLEGRO. I'll try again tomorrow.

The manufactured "drama" of people having meltdowns shown on-camera is old and unappealing. Oh, I don't doubt the singers' sincerity. I'm sure the pressure is enormous. But the camera going in close to get all of the emotional collapses is not entertaining to me.Well one thing that makes me hopefull is that this year Hollywood is being shown over 2 weeks. So probably they will show more?

So, I believe tonight will be another "post and pack, pack and post" night. Although, I think I may just pack from 7:00-7:30, and leave it at that. Thankfully, I don't need to leave for the airport until 9:00 tomorrow morning, so I'll have plenty of time for any "last minute" packing if needed.
But the delay also could make the confusing transition even more perplexing for some viewers.TV stations are allowed to seek federal approval to turn off their analog signals before the new deadline. So instead of nearly all broadcasters making the switch on Feb. 17, stations now may ... ... make the switch at different times over the next four months. That could create another hiccup: Some converter boxes don't have the ability to "pass through" analog signals. As a result, in areas where both digital and analog signals are transmitted, viewers with the wrong converter box may have to unplug the device to watch one channel broadcast in analog, then plug it back in to watch another in digital.
