Today is a County of Alameda holiday.

Today is day 1 of a 5-day holiday I've created for myself that involves taking tomorrow off.

Monday is President's Day that honors both George Washington and Lincoln.

BK, the play we saw which had a character named Benjamin Kritze which The Lovely Wife was trying to remember in her phone call to you last night is COMPLICIT.
Now playing at the Old Vic, directed by Kevin Spacey. Richard Dreyfuss plays the character, Ben Kritzer. He is lead and he is not nearly as charming as the young Benjamin Krtizer of your novels.
