Happily, my Benjamin Kritzer has a lovely copyright of 2002.  I'm glad I made the name popular, though :)

Back from the long jog.  Even though it's sunny out, it's actually a little chilly.

Employment opportunities abound:

ASSOCIATED PRESS

Quote
Phoenix, kidnap-for-ransom capital

It was Phoenix, after all: More ransom kidnappings happen here than in any other town in America, according to local and federal law enforcement authorities. Most every victim and suspect is connected to the drug-smuggling world, usually tracing back to the western Mexican state of Sinaloa, Phoenix police report.

Arizona has become the new drug gateway into the United States. Roughly half of all marijuana seized along the U.S.-Mexico border was taken on the state's 370-mile border with Mexico.

DR Danise and I saw Michael Ball, who was excellent, in PATIENCE at New York City Opera. It was a lot of fun.

However as Mrs Squeezum says in LOCK UP YOUR DAUGHTERS in the verse to "When does the Ravishing Begin?":
Patience is a virtue very few possess
And I confess I feel myself possess it less and less

I love cupcakes. I don't get to eat them any more. Dr. Radakrishnan has seen to that.

Good for him!  Are you feeling better?

Actually I am feeling tons better now that I have cut down a lot on carbs/sugars. And I don't feel constantly hungry either.

PS: Dr. Radakrishnan is a she.

Why not non-sugar cupcakes (made with Splenda)?

Even the sugarless stuff tends to still be high in carbs.

Carbs/sugar= bad for diabetics

Hopefully good news--two (count 'em) roofers have said we do NOT need a new roof!  Yay!  The one guy who seems to really know his business seems to think our leak, if indeed we had one, came from the snow storm.  A box vent on the roof is right over where the leak was and he said melting snow probably caused it.

But nobody's chasing me

No true for SPLENDA

Nope. Euthenasia.

When I first started hearing news reports about euthanasia (maybe during the Kevorkian years), I honestly couldn't figure out why so many people were discussing the young people of China.
