What I can't figure out is how to move photos from his folder to the desktop without removing them from the folder

I need a photo-stupidity intervention.  :)

I'll bet when Skip gets home, unless he's really tired, we'll be able to e-mail a few of them to someone.  Otherwise over the weekend.

George, can we send them to you like we did the last time we had photos to post?

Sure.  I'm still at work right now, but I can take a moment to help. :)

I tried a small cup of tea before.  it made me cough but it tasted nearly like tea so I am hopeful my tastebuds are reviving.  I only managed a few sips and had to pour the rest out.

I am going try a little applesauce in the near future.

Exciting stuff, hey?

I finally broke into one of my Christmas presents: The Elizabeth Gaskell collection and watched the 1st 2 episodes of Cranford.  I quite enjoyed it!

I was quite touched by Miss Debra's kindness to the girl across the way.

FJL, I'm not understanding the problem with the folders.  Open the folder and drag the photo into an e-mail - it will still be in the folder - it doesn't go anywhere.  Furthermore, if you're trying to post a photo, just take it to tinypic.com and upload it - again, you don't have to have it on your desktop - when you "choose" just first choose the folder, and it will then give you the contents of the folder to choose from.  Am I making sense?  Am I making cents?

Well well....I am typing on the keyboard of my brand new used Apple Imac G4....it is quite a nifty little computer.  I unhooked the Inner Nit from my Cisnet and voila....here I am.

HHW is the first site i visited with my new used computer....that I don't know how to use yet....but it is very interesting.  I will keep looking to see what programs are here and see what all this thing can do.

But there is NO scroll function on the mouse that I can find - but who knows...

I shall be back after a bit more exploration.  I can take a photo, but then I would have to upload it on the other computer....so we shall see what we shall see....

All things considered, YES!

Sorry that I have been E & T.   I just now read about Coleslaw's accident.  I hope and pray that he is okay.  I am now off to do the first of the final four performances of GLORIOUS.

I will try to ketchup when I get home!

Just tried emailing  a few photos to George.  Or at least I think the emails contained photos.  :)

Well, I'll check them when I get home.  I was able to read the e-mails and reply on-line, but I didn't see any pictures, or even see that there were any attachements. :-\ What's up with that??  The sizes of the e-mails are 388KB, 192KB and 225KB, so you'd think that there were pictures attached, but I can't tell.  Hopefully, it's just some stupid thing with the on-line e-mail access and not some real problem.

Wait!  I went to print one of the e-mails and it showed the picture!  I was able to download them by "printing" my e-mail message, without actually printing the e-mail.

Jrand, the Apple is very simple - there's a lovely "help" function on almost every screen - just type in your question (open disc tray) and you'll be surprised how easy it all is.

I really need to EAT.  Well, I suppose I shall be on my way to pick up my dinner partner and I think we're walking to the restaurant, which is just over the footbridge.  I hope there's no wait - I shall not be a happy Jew if there's a wait.  If there's a wait I may have to cause a disturbance and Thai one on.
