Only three hours till pre-show (the show DOES start at six, yes?).  And we're not even to page seven?  Will we never get to page ninety?

Right now, I'm watching Thursday's "Private Practice."  I recorded this and "Grey's Anatomy" to put on a DVD for my friend Margo and am cutting out the commercials as I watch it.

Just had to share. :)

I get that same "feeling" whenever I'm staying and paying for a really nice hotel room.

And do all of your "guests" agree?

Then, on to today's work project: PRIMAL FEAR. I hadn't watched the movie in many years, but it was memorable enough for me to remember all of its twists so I could concentrate on performances and other aspects of the film this time around.

Matt

When is the Blu-Ray going to be released?

It's a great new transfer, too, with the film looking as if it were filmed yesterday.

Sunday afternoon greetings!  We've just returned from Cincinnati.  Richard conducted morning prayer and then we took Rob and Mary Linda to one of their favorite places for lunch - Wild Ginger, an Asian bistro.  We sat at the grill and a guy entertained us while he cooked our food.  Richard and I then stopped at my Mom's to adjust her TV and at Kroger.  Now, we're settled in for an Oscar evening.

Having received her permission, I want to share this exquisite photo of Mary Linda.  Anyone want to hire her?

We're STILL on page seven?  Two hours to pre-show.  Is this WUSSBURGERING and non-posting due to the economic situation?  They blame everything else on it, so why not this?

We don't get the tv guide channel in canada. But E! starts their red carpet coverage in 5 minutes. So i will watch that. And then switch to TAR. And then back to the Oscars.

I don't think i'll be around during the Oscars. Maybe after if i'm not too tired.

Well, I must be going for a little while.  I have to take a shower and then go to my sister's.  I will be back before the festivities start. :)

Less than two hours to pre-show.  I'm watching a low-budget noir - had a nice little meeting earlier, too.

I'm having computer trouble. I played a DVD last night and it froze the computer. Once I finally got it unstuck I thought it was OK, but just now it conked out again. Sigh. And double sigh.

OSCARS:

Kate Winslet was nominated for the wrong movie. The Reader IMHO was a disappointment all around. Revolutionary Road was the One. However,Leonardo's performance in that movie was stunning'
I hope Meryl Streep wins for Doubt.

This is interesting, I thought The Reader was much better than Revolutionary Road

THE READER was my favorite movie of the year.

DR Ginny, BEAUTIFUL PHOTO!

Thank you, DR Jane.  Just to clarify, I did not take this photo.  It was taken by a professional dance photographer who's a graduate of the same program ML is in.
