I like the way they did the Screenplay presentation...

I did, too, DR Edi.

I did have Penelope as my second choice of the possible winner. So I scored "some points," just not a perfect number of points thus far.

I think she won for her sterling performance as Tom Cruise's love interest several years ago. Can anyone understand a thing she says?

Why on earth would they give these big awards so soon?  It's really stupid.

Remember, there's a narrative to tonight's ceremony.

I know nothing of tonight, but I do know that when Loretta Young won for "The Farmer's Daughter," it was unexpected, and she was seated farther away.  She wore an emerald green taffeta dress with yards of skirt, ruffles, peplums and was clearly not meant for trying to get up to the stage.

I also know that when the delicious Gloria Grahame won for "The Bad and the Beautiful," she tripped on the steps leading up to the stage and uttered a very audible, "Oh shit!"  Most people presumed she had a toddy or two beforehand to calm her nerves.

Loretta, of course would never say such a thing!

What's the narrative - did they announce that or were we supposed to read something somewhere?

To whom were people referring when they were referring to one of the interviewers on the red carpet as being terrible?

I think it's GREAT they're switching it up and putting some big awards up front. They're trying to keep the audience around.
