bk - I have been enjoying the notes and the walks down memory lane.  I do miss the work you were doing constantly in the 90's with all those great singers.  It certainly isn't the same no matter how people are trying.  I still LOL at the comments you have made throughout the years about Helen Reddy.  She is still one of my favorite vocalists, despite the stories you hear about the person.  I often go back to the CD you made with her as it's such a great listen.  Did you have anything to do with "Surrender" single that was released separately from the full length CD?

No, the Surrender single was the idea of the Varese (at that time) PR guy.  I had nothing to do with it at all.

OK, DR Druxy - just for you, I purchased the Kindle version of your book.  But I won't know what it looks like until I get home and download it.

That is so kind and generous of you.

Thank you.  I owe you one.

DR Druxy - you're welcome.  And...  Not really that generous.  It was $7.99.   :)

Wednesday afternoon greetings!  I had a meeting at Java Johnny's this morning with one of the two people with whom I'm doing a grantwriting seminar on Saturday.  We seem to have our act together - just hope the organizers have rustled up some audience members for us.

It looks like the move to Austin is going to be postponed for a few days.

Although the loan for the sale of our Los Angeles house has been approved and "locked," the documents have not been signed yet, which means that escrow can't close before next week.  So, instead of starting our 5-day drive on Sunday (15), it probably won't begin until the latter part of the week.

 :(

There's always something, isn't there?

I am sorry to hear that.  Will this effect your ability to go see your play performed?

I've been addressing packages and I suppose I shall now go do the long jog, after which I'll address more packages.

The printer repairman called; they may have to get the part from Japan. It will take about a month.

Another repairman is coming this afternoon to figure out why the printer is chopping off the tops and bottoms of the bulletins.
