Saturday evening greetings!  This morning I was one of 3 presenters at a grantwriting workshop sponsored by the YWCA in Hamilton, OH, for which I was "paid" with a Hallmark gift card.  I don't know the amount, but will stop on Monday at a Hallmark store to find out.

Having gotten up earlier than I have any day since Dec. 19, I had to take a nap when I got home.  Tomorrow will be an even earlier call, because Richard and I need to be on the road to Lima by 7am for him to conduct morning prayer at 10.

The Vixter was rehearsing for her All County Chorus concert from 2:30 until 8:30 yesterday getting home around 9 PM (after leaving thehouse at 6:50 AM for school)

this morning she was at the school by 8 AM for another rehearsal that runs until 2 PM  - the concert is tonight at 8

Good thing she's young!  Concert vibes for her!

TOD:

Sequencing:  A New Solution for Woman who Want Marriage, Career, and Family, by Arlele Rossen Cardozo, PhD, helped me understand and survive 12 years away from the career I'd spent the prior 12 establishing.

A Mother and Two Daughters, by Gail Godwin

The Joy Luck Club, by Amy Tan, one of the first books that made me cry.  It provided the name for the book group I started when Rob was in kindergarten that's still going strong.

And today we also saw lots of little lizards.

If you want to smile watch this puppy and duckling together.

Adorable...maybe Sherlock needs a duckling

:)

Or a kitten.  We have decided he will be an only child.  He has many dog friends he visits with on our hiking trails.

I am shocked that is the first book that made you cry.  I can't even remember the first book that did that.  I must cry more easily than you do ;)

Listening to both Guy Haines cd's.   They just always cheer me up, I've been under the weather all week.
