Okay, okay, okay.  Strike what I said yesterday.  I am now officially taking down my acting boots once again.  The director has made me an offer that I can't refuse.

Thursday morning greetings!  This afternoon I have to take my aunt to her optician's for a adjustment to her new glasses.

And tonight, for the first time in my life, I will watch MTV:

Taking the Stage

You didn't watch when I guest-starred on HIGH SCHOOL STORIES?

Ummm....wasn't that pre-television?  :)

I played the Principal!

Back from some Pasta Papa at Hugo's.  I had a new Anya order waiting - for five copies - ordered by - drum roll - John Gavin, husband to Constance Towers.

Swoon!

Who knew Mr. Gavin was a of musical theater.

I saw the then still handsome Mr. Gavin in the touring company of SEESAW with Lucie Arnez and Tommy Tune.

Welcome to newly-registered SweetIrma.  Since I know who it is, I'm hoping SweetIrma will post - and if SweetIrma does, I think everyone will be very happy.

DR MBarnum:

MrGavin, as mentioned by DRTCB has appeared in musicals on stage, besides, he's bubby to Constance Towers (Since 1974!) who sings on the cast recording of ANYA!
I guess the extra cd he's buying is for ME!! LOL!

Just heard the Illya master with all my fixes and it's really good - couldn't do anything about the washy reverb, but with the EQ we came up with, it certainly minimizes it and there is finally some low end to the recording - it sounds alive and vibrant and having the two additional numbers and everything in show order makes all the difference in the world.

DR TB what is the offer that is too good to refuse?

Well, it is probably better if I don't talk about the offer.  However, let me just say that I will be playing Brother Arvide in GUYS AND DOLLS opening May 4 at the Seattle Musical Theatre.

Well, I must be leaving.  I'm going to see a local production of You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown.  The woman who is playing Lucy (my friend, Holly) played Lucy when I played Charlie Brown in 2002!

DR Elmore, LIFE ON MARS is already available for pre-order on Amazon.com

Thank you, Mikey!

I just checked; you can sign up to be notified when it's available, but I didn't see any pre-order link. I can't believe such a good series is being cancelled. What a moronic network!

I am disheartened by the show's lack of success as anyone, but the network can't really be blamed. They gave it every possible chance to catch on, placing it behind two of their biggest hits: GREY'S ANATOMY and LOST, and the public just didn't take to it after watching its pilot (it did have 12 million people watch its premiere episode.)

So, blame the moronic public for not supporting a well made show. They're the reason it's being taken off.

As a member of the moronic public, let me just say that I didn't like the show.  Sorry that I am so stupid.

                    It's your fault? You moron!
