Just had a call from the Music Center's Center Theater Group - they call from time to time if they need help with their radio commercials - so, I'm producing their music spot for Ain't Misbehavin' next Thursday in the evening.  I always have a good time doing these, and my "fee" is always four opening night tickets and the opening night partay.

Good Evening!

I had another great walk up, down and around downtown Charleston.  I concentrated mainly on Meeting Street.  Lots of historic homes and churches.  Alas, with all that "history", I was starting to feel a little guilty for not being more into Civil War history.  -But I did track down a few more restaurants that had been recommended to me. ;)

Meeting Street?   ::)

Alas, I did not meet anyone.  Although, I wasn't expecting to either. ;)

Gee, I hope I get a nice bio photo at GUYS AND DOLLS.  Then I can switch out Buffalo Bill, and have a little avatar like all the other guys..... and dolls.

If you sat on one of the benches while quietly reading a book on Civil War history; perhaps that certain someone would come along.

Well, considering the median age of most the people touring the historic homes on Meeting Street, well...  Maybe DR MBarnum would like to pay a visit to Charleston and sit on a bench quietly reading a book on Civil War history.

Do you call the mind "Mariah"?

She told me she prefers "Ms. Wind".  And she spells it Maria, to everyone's confusion.

 ;D

When we named our cat Maria, after the song, we of course had to spell it the confusing way.

Listening to a marvelous Brazilian singer - a new CD from an older LP with music by Jobim - gorgeous - he conducts and orchestrates, too.  The CD is obviously mastered from an LP and they have rather shamefully not done anything to disguise that fact.

You can win a colonoscopy?  I think I'll watch NBC instead.

I've been struggling through this French motion picture from France entitled Love Songs with Catherine Deneuve with musique de Michel Legrand - I really want to like it, but the characters are really thinly drawn and really irritating.  We'll see if I tough it out or switch to something else.

So I imagine that all of her teachers mispronounced her name in school?

Last night from DR Danise:

"Everything is going well with Sheena and I.  I'm just trying my best to hang on and pray that Consumer Affairs will be able to help me."

I'm sure being back with Sheena will help DR Danise's spirits

It did. :)

"I'm feeling so much better now that I have Sheena.

Yes, both of them are loving Sheena.  She kept trying to lick Johns face the first night like she was saying "Thank You!!".  He said she was a suck up (in a joking tone) because she seemed to know it was up to him if we could stay or go.  I think they are really going to miss her when we finely get home.

I'm so proud of her, she is being such a good girl.  She knows how to ask to go out. She hardly barks.

Some more good news. Channel 28 called me again.  I told him about what the guy at 8 said
(he had been nasty to Danise) and I think that kinda helped.  I hope so.  I just really want to go home.

Please give everyone my love.  I may be able to post a bit from here.  I just don't want to use the computer too much."

Can Melissa Gilbert sing?

Is it important?  Patty Duke played Aint Eller in OKLAHOMA! on Broadway a few years ago - although I think Cathy Lane played the Wednesday and Saturday matinees.

I suppose it depends how decent the singing is.  I could be the most famous person in the world & no one would hire me to sing, unless for a joke.

No one asked anything.

She wanted so badly to have a butterfly land on her. Then three did, one after another.
