DR Cillaliz - To crop a photo of yourself in Facebook, you have to tag yourself in the photo first.  *It took me a while to realize that myself.

Our "Bialytock" also brought his three kids with him, two sons and a daughter.  They're about the same ages of my own nieces and nephew... Missing them today.

In other news...

It seems that Amazon.com has "deranked" a whole slew of titles, as well as pulled them from the search results.  The reason: possibly Adult, offensive content.  Consequently, any texts dealing with GLBT issues have been pulled - unless they are already available in a Kindle edition.  Additionally, works by authors such as James Baldwin to John Barrowman have been "pulled".

I'm sure there will be lots of press in the coming days, but, in the meantime, here's an "open letter" from BookSquare.com which explains some of what happened today.

Open Letter to Amazon Regarding Recent Policy Changes

DR elmore - Do you have and can you sleep with earplugs?  -Have your tired using some "white noise" to mask some of the barking?  -Just turn your TV to a "snow" channel, turn the volume down to a non-distracting level, then throw a blanket over the screen to block the light.

OK... Time for me to get ready to head out to the Easter Lunch/Dinner/Egg Hunt.  -Apparently, the two daughters of the director colored about 100 eggs and hid them all over their house.  I suspect hilarity will ensue.

Laters...

I certainly hope that Jose's hosts carefully counted and recounted the number of eggs the two daughters have hidden.  I would hate to have one missing hard boiled egg remained unaccounted.

DR TCB - All the hard-boiled eggs stayed in the basket on the kitchen tables.  All the ones that the girls hid were the plastic ones which they filled with various goodies.  It was sort of like Halloween all over again!  ;)

Craig and Ioana went for a beautiful spring walk in Philadelphia, with my new camera I received for my birthday & passed on to them.  This is the reward for my good deed, a photo of my son :)

The eight-year old daughter of our director established the rules for the Easter Egg Hunt. She explained that there were two "special" eggs which contained a set of directions which had to be followed in order to properly claim the "prize".  Additionally, there were two "silver" eggs - they were wrapped in aluminum foil - which would determine who would be the "Easter King" and "Easter Queen".  Of course, two guys found the Silver eggs.  ;)

*And everyone's "favorite" rule for today's Easter Egg Hunt: You may wrestle for the eggs. -From the mouths of babes. ::)

One of the great things about Philly is all these tree-lined back streets with old, restored single-family homes--a lot of which proudly hoist various flags of countries and universities.

Fashion victim moment o'the day:  I had to rise very early today to get ready to play two mammoth services.  I put on a sort of brownish-golden shirt and I found a very nice Adolfo tie made of sort of Pollock-esque "blotches", which, while mostly bluish and reddish, had one goldenrod one that was the exact color of my shirt, so I thought it would look great.  When I got to church, more fully awake and in better light, I realized the goldenrod blotch was a food stain.  Oh, well.

So... I guess that's why Betsy dresses the kids in the morning for school.

Hi Jose, nice day you had. :)

It really was a nice day.  I got to sleep in. The weather was gorgeous! I refilled the car's windshield wiper fluid reservoir. I figured out how to lock and unlock the car doors without setting off the car alarm. I got to hang out with some great people. I got to eat some great food.  And I had some Carvel Ice Cream Cake! :)

That came out about two or three years ago.  I like it. It's funny.  Although, I've always meant to ask Marcy and Zina if it was ever made "official".

Ate a weird meal at Hugo's - once again they've taken a dish they did really well, the mac and cheese, which used corkscrew pasta and three cheeses and was quite one of the best things they did, and completely changed it - it's now "shells" much heavier cheese, and you can get it with porcini mushrooms and peas, which is what I had today.  It's not nearly as good - and I shan't be having it again.

I ended up having to ship over thirty packages today (and address and stamp them, too), begin reading the long script, which is still long but better, and am trying to finish a motion picture before writing the notes and starting in on the Jason Robert Brown/Georgia Stitt questions.
