Well, you've read the notes, the notes were both easy and breezy, and now it is time for you to post until the easy breezy cows come home.

I had a very strange dream last night about having to drive a piece of heavy construction equipment through a crowded Times Square.

Good morning, all! I dreamed I was orchestrating a show on enormous score paper, and I was in a large room, rather like a classroom - with Sid Ramin, Leonard Bernstein, my friend Charlie Harmon and my friend Larry Blank. There was a lady in the dream as well but I cannot remember now if it was Mathilde Pincus or Judy Haring.

Today, Jerome Moross pieces for two pianos.

That is all.

Memorial Day greetings!  Continuing our low-profile holiday weekend, Richard and I are about to watch C-Span's coverage of the ceremony from Arlington National Cemetery.

Such lovely photos from DR JOSE from NYC yesterday....with Monkey being baffled by the Ramble, etc.  And DR FJL had some lovely lyrics to share.

I myself am coughing and feverish and otherwise down - I do not think I will be able to attend rehearsal tonight....we shall see.  I sent an email to the director, but she has not responded.  Time will tell.

DR JRand - Why did you bother calling your director?  I mean, if other people don't show up to rehearsal.. ;)

Good morning!

Another overcast morning and coolish but not as cool as I'd like. Yes, I have the house opened up, but it's kind of muggy/cool. Forecast says a chance of rain for the next five days. May has been a very wet month.

In other news...

I believe I'm going to pass on heading over to the Guggenheim this morning.  My friend, Mike, just called me, and he happened to get there when they opened this morning.  -There was lots of hubbub by his hotel this morning due to an explosion outside a Starbucks at 92nd & 3rd Ave, so he was up earlier today than he though he would be.  In any case...

There are a couple of things I've been taking care of here at the apartment, and since I do have to head out again later this afternoon, staying put for now is a good thing.

Just got the word to work on VALKYRIE (Blu-ray), so that will be my work project for today. The disc was sent to me by mistake, but due to the mail holidays, it makes no sense to postpone working on it so it can get into the hands of the right person.

It's raining lightly today, so I moved my planters off the porch to the sidewalk so they can enjoy the moisture from the sky.
