I'm having one of my no-motivation days.  When I express concern about it, Richard assures me that eventually I'll get bored and start creating structure for myself.

It will help when we get our house put back together.  Rob and a friend are coming on Saturday to do the "heavy lifting" for us.

bk - I'm glad you were able to get through to someone in the police department who listened to you.  However, just remember, it is legal for work to take place between 7:00am and 10:00pm.  Be sure that you don't become a nuisance to the police.  -If anything, I think you should contact one of local TV stations, and see what advice their consumer advocates could provide you - and/or news coverage.

Has anyone heard from DR Danise lately?

I wonder if DR Ginny's DH Richard will appropriate that into his liturgy?

I love special garments.

And special varmints.

Not necessarily in that order.

But do you like special varmints in your special garments? or vice versa?

For DAW:

The Liberty Education Forum (the educational arm of Log Cabin) has launched a website called WHAT MARRIAGE MEANS dedicated to supporting the legalization of some-sex marriage in New York state.

Perhaps you'd like to contribute your thoughts.

Not if it isn't in the 1928 Book of Common Prayer!

Well, I just sent off the email I drafted earlier.  I really am hoping that it does not prompt any sort of unpleasant response, but, alas, I'm afraid it will.  No vibes needed, it's just one of those things.  Thankfully, it's one of those things that's backed up by a signed piece of paper.

Are we going to have to BEG for you to tell us what it's all about or are you simply going to continue making cryptic references?

Does jogging for 45 minutes this morning entitle me to a slice of chocolate cream pie?

I hate (well, actually, sort of delight) in being the curmudgeonette, BUT I just read this bad news DR RonnieP -- scientists think some volcanic activity in China caused that mass extinction millions of years ago (sorry, but I thought you'd want to know even after or in spite of that rousing chorus)

One slice without whipped cream.

Or two without whipped cream.

Pa-shaw! One is ALWAYS entitled to a slice of chocolate cream pie ... or banana cream pie ... or Levain ... or slice of Monkey Cake ... (I believe that is DR Enabler's motto -- or one to that effect ... oui?)

If that mass extinction (of marine life) had not occurred, then who could imagine what marine life might have crawled out of the oceans and developed on land?

"We" might never have survived if some pre-volcanic-mass-extinction form of shark -- or dolphin -- had stood upright before man.
