Thankfully, it has cooled off some (it got up to 87 today), and I have been able to open the house back up and get some cool air pumped back into the house.

I watched seven more episodes of THE CLEANER. It's SO unpleasant watching people shooting up drugs, getting high, and pretty much stringing themselves out in some of these episodes. And the personal lives of the team of interventionists are also very rocky, so though there are success stories, it's a struggle with every single episode to turn things around.

The clients have run the gamut from high school students to FBI agents to bikers to soccer moms so they do mix up the playing fields and turf of their clients.

Most of the episodes don't feature famous guest stars, but there have been a few. Bruce Davison was a race horse owner with a junkie jockey in one episode. Steve Lawrence also guest starred in that episode as a track handicapper.

In the episode I just finished watching, Isaiah Washington played a rival interventionist to Benjamin Bratt. Washington played the same kind of smug prick he played on GREY'S ANATOMY. He's got that down to a science. Kathy Baker was also a guest star in this episode as the mother of a beauty queen addict.

I have four more episodes to watch plus a few more bonus features (I watched all of the bonuses on the first three discs of the set). It's mostly been deleted scenes, music videos, and two commentaries.

So, other than a little bit of PANIC ROOM today, I didn't have time to watch anything for pure fun. Tomorrow I should be able to find some free time for some leisure viewing.

I'm going to write for a little bit and then head back downstairs, this time to bed.

Good night!

It has been a very nice, very warm day. Now I shall relax with a Tamil (Kollywood) film titled ANNIYAN. It is some sort of action film featuring one of my favorite Indian actors, Vikram.

Strangly enough, Vikram's birth name was John Kennedy (b. 1968). He is rather a hottie, IMHO.

Good Evening!

Many, Many Thanks to DR FJL's ever-lovin' Skip for preparing another lovely dinner, and many thanks to DR FJL for inviting me over for tonight's feast.  I had a great time, and met some new people too.  -And since we had some people in common... Pick-a-little, talk-a-little, pick-a-little, talk-a-little...  :)

Today was a very long day.  I went to work for a couple of hours, mail a couple of packages to DRs TCB and Elmore (expect them sometime next week!), and then I helped my sister move a van-load of stuff from her current house to her new house.  I helped for three solid hours and boy was it hot today!  I was sweating like a horse...if you've ever seen the movie of "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum," you know what I mean. :P

Then, I went to see a production of Flight of the Lawnchair Man at the Evergreen State College.  My friend Josh (director and music director of Reefer Madness! The Musical!) was the music director/pianist for Lawnchair Man.  It was wonderful!  Absolutely delightful.  There was so much energy from these kids.  Josh told me that most of them have had no acting experience.  You couldn't tell.  I only knew the show from the CD (excerpts?) on 3HREE.  This was a full 90 minute show with no intermission.  I had a great time.

Tomorrow, I need to be at my sister's house by 10:00 am.  She's giving one of her TV cabinets to the brother of a friend of hers and I'm going to help him load it into whatever truck he's bringing.  My sister, however, will be directing the professional movers that she's hired in loading her stuff into their moving truck.  Then, I'll help with more moving until I have to go to rehearsal.
