Well, you've read the notes, the notes were lazy and yet went to town, and now it is time for you to post until the lazy cows come home.

Good morning, all! June is, thank God, not yet busting out all over, but this year of 2009 seems to be galloping along while at the same time I'm thinking, this has been the longest six months I've ever endured. I don't know what any of it means.

Today I will finish up Act Two and begin the long task of writing up the notes. As soon as they're done, which will be tomorrow, I will cart the score down to MTI, come back and make the Moross score fixes and mail it off to the rental agency in New Jersey. Then it's back to (hopefully) the final round of BABES IN TOYLAND for the nonce. This isn't my day, it's probably my week until Thursday when I have another round of the McGlinnventory.  Today, I have a few errands as well: pharmacy and bank.

We got new phones here in the office.  They are suppose to work off of the internet.  I remember when just the opposite was true.

Monday morning greetings.  It's cool here in SW Ohio and it looks like it might rain.  I have some household puttering to do, as well as some errands.

Yes, Druxy, I believe you're correct about Mark Heilpern ( I think that was his name) who starred in Zabriskie Point.  But even that-after-the-fact tragedy still  cannot make the travesty of the movie go down any better.  I remember sitting in the theatre watching this in disbelief at how pointless, pretentious, and mind-numbingly stupid the movie was.  And the two main actors couldn't act.  It made the fifty worst films of all time book.  If BK had told me he was going to watch it, I'd have tried hard to dissuade.  Even Blu-ray can't help that movie. It's two hours of my life I'd like back.

His name was Mark Frechette.

The girl's name was Daria Halprin (or something like that).

Good morning!

The first of June (NO WAY!), and the summer appears to be here a few weeks early. We're going to be near 90 or over this week and no rain in the forecast until Thursday. I have a feeling the AC will be turned on at some point in the next few days.

Well, bk beat me to FATAL ATTRACTION by a day since that will be my work project for the day. I think it's a great thriller, but I haven't seen it in years, so I'll look forward to this revisit this afternoon. I think Glenn CLose's work is absolutely brilliant. From her first glimpse in the movie, you know she's mentally off. I don't quite know HOW she achieved that effect with her eyes being rather glassy and hungry, but she freaked me out from the get-go. I would have given her the Oscar over Cher in MOONSTRUCK, too.

Most romantic moment:

My first partner and I met at a Christmas dinner (actually a week or so before Christmas) given by a mutual friend of ours at the time. We knew each other casually but had never had occasion to really sit and talk with one another. I do remember as we talked, I just sort of fell into his eyes and got mesmerized. We ate together (it was a buffet), we slow danced, and suffice to say we went home together. I was completely swept off my feet.

DR George,

I got your PUSHING DAISIES recorded onto a DVD-R, and unless there are complications, I'll try to get it to the post office this afternoon.

I just read DR Matt H's "On TV Tonight!™" listing, and when I read the NBC listing, I first thought it said:

I'M A CELEBRITY MEDIUM

As for "Up" - Well, I was sort of planning to see it this past weekend, but since we ended up having such glorious weather, well...

*And to see it in 3-D here in NYC on a big screen it costs $15.  So, blame the economy for that one too.
